Ive been to london today and had all 4 of my amalgram removed and replace with bio tested composites.
though i still have 4 normal composites which i was told have metal in them. iwant to start chelation has soon has possible.would it be ok now that ive had the amalgrams out. i simply cant afford to have the composites out has well at this time. can i chelate with any type of composite in?
or sould i still wait? thanks.

As far as I know, I believe it is safe, although I would check with another source to confirm that. If possible, you also may want to get the brand name and manufacturer who made the previous composites so you can see what they contain.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Smitho, all dental materials have some form of metals in them, a metal free restorative does not truly exist. But most of these metals in these materials are in the form of metal oxides, not in the same state as typical amalgam or others like them.
Even denture acrylic contains metals in some form. All composites, glass ionomers etc, all contain them. But I'm sure some contain more than others and maybe this is the problem, or which ones they are and what forms they take.
You should be able to chelate just fine with your composites. see how you go.

Thanks! the dentist i went to was called DR hesham el essawy. his web site is www.el-essawy.comthe bio test he dose is vega testing. he believes it to be alot more accarate than kenesiology testing. ive been reading recently on several sites that vega testing may not be the best test to have.. he dosent do diamondlite fillings.and ive read there the best... now im worried that i should of went some where else.

i dont know about diamondlite being the best as from what iv heard there is no safe material to fill are teeth thats why its best to have the biocampatability test like you had so i wouldnt worry to much uv done all the right things not every mercury free dentist would send you for a bio compatability test

Hi Smitho, any aluminium in dental materials is normally in the form of aluminium oxide. This is a "non metal" and is contained in many things we consume. The only way it could harm is if you are simply getting too much consumption of it and if the dental materials do contain it (many do), it would depend how much of it would leach out of them.
A lot depends on how stable the metals and chemicals are in the material, to whether they become a danger at all by building up too much and/or causing allergic reactions.
You can get toxic by something that builds up too much over time, or you can simply have an ongoing allergic reaction to the material itself. Or both.
So it's hard to say if your materials are a problem. I hope your dentist will tell you what the name is and then if he does, let us know. I can put you onto a guy across email who knows just abut everything contaied in just about all dental materials. He's knows his stuff.
anyway, keep us posted and hope this darned dentist replies. They are a pain in the ..... I get this all the time with them. I'm sure most of them are out of their tree, or basically and simply don't really want to know or deal with questions that make them uncomfortable or annoyed.

Hi there, I'm not overly familiar with that material, but on my serum test form, it shows to be suitable with me and I'm very sensitive and very toxic. So I don't know if that is any consolation to you. Also, I've heard that Germany usually makes very biocompatible dental materials also. So yours may well be ok. You can chelate by the way. Any aluminium in those materials would be oxide form and Andy Cutler (biochemist), makes no mention of this stuff as being an issue, and he deals extensively with mercury toxic people and warns against the other metals such as copper, lead, arsenic and how they react alongside mercury making it much more toxic. He reckons you get more aluminium oxide in baking powder. But again, you have to decide on whether you feel comfortable with them in your mouth or not. Here is a link about aluminium oxide http://www.vident.com/general.php?id_pages=205But again, there is differing opinions on this stuff, but consider all the other metals and chemicals contained in dental materials (plastics, glass ionomers and simple denture acrylic ALL contain them to varying degrees). So it's kind of like trying to find the lesser of two evils and get a form of the stuff that is less likely to cause issues.
