Did a little further research tonight, after this think I am going to log off and just chill out a bit. Seems as though the two pieces that I have been given are made of the following materials:

Feldspathic porcelain (Vita Mark II) http://www.vita-zahnfabrik.com/eBRA...=C0&wosid=g2yUSrOc6tFmEVRzskGscM

Leucite-reinforced glass ceramic, mixed with Aluminum Oxide (Pro CAD) http://www.getprocad.com/dentist-bl-sci.html and also http://www.getprocad.com/blocks.pdf

What I REALLY wanted was the Vita In-Ceram YZ materials, which are made with presintered Zirconium Oxide. http://www.vita-zahnfabrik.com/resourcesvita/shop/de/de_3052150.pdf

Why does this seem to be so hard to get? I guess I just have to laugh at all of this. And the search goes on... I just thank God that I started an IT job a couple of months ago that is so slow that it allows me about 20-30 hours per week to do some heavy research on the Internet while I am at my job. They don't mind either, as it is my job to simply watch the phones and take phone calls. As long as I am doing my job, they really don't care how I spend my time. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to sift through all of this information without loads of time to do it. I almost feel sorry for some of these dentists, because I don't know how they would be able to make a living and still have time to research all of these things on their own. I often wonder how many of them are simply doing what many of us did years ago, and take someone else's word for what is in the materials that they place into other people's mouths? Not that this would be any excuse, but at least maybe I can understand it a little bit... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
