Hi Bex,
I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I don't know which is more frustrating--hearing about what is happening to you, or feeling powerless to offer any kind of help from halfway around the world. If it makes any difference, I live in a major hub-city for Northwest Airlines (MSP), so if you needed to fly overseas to America, you could stay with our family and we could pick you up at the airport and give you whatever transportation you needed both to and from the dentist once you got here.
I don't know if this is a bright spot for you directly or not, but I had a pretty good experience with my visit to the insurance-based dentist yesterday, which I will post more about in the thread about the cerec crowns. He seems to echo the sentiments of the dentists that you have spoken to about cerec materials, and thinks that this is the most bio-compatible material available on the market today. He was very familiar with Clifford testing, and has spoken with Walter directly on many occasions. He even said that Walter Clifford told him that testing for the cerec's is beginning to drop off recently, simply because there have been so few problems reported by anyone about it, and people apparently feel less and less compelled to test cerec materials before placement nowadays. This dentist has been doing this for years, and has not had anyone report to him any negative reactions from the cerecs, which seems to reinforce what the dentists told you as well.
Bex, we really need to find a way to get you some help, one way or another. I wouldn't be able to wire any money until I get my dental work done, but I could send a little here and there possibly as soon as March of next year. No one should have to suffer like this, there has to be some way around all of this for you.
Jason
