Hello Alone_In_Idaho. Welcome to our forum.

I'm so sorry to hear about the many pains you have been through. I truly feel so bad for the suffering, both emotional and physical thay may very well have been unnecessary.

I think the first thing you need to know is that you are not alone. Many people have "mystery" illnesses, and I mean many, these days and are struggling to find out what is at the source. They go from doctor to doctor and take one drug after another.

In case you haven't see it, here is a link to my story. It was written before I realized the emotional effects that mercury had on me so there is little information about that in there. Nevertheless, there is a lot of info about the physical effects:

Just about everything you mentioned in your post I've seen related to mercury toxicity in one way or another. From the coated tongue to feeling suicidal, these are symptoms I've had. They went away soon after I had my silver fillings removed in July of 2000. Now, I'm a new person and I don't feel suicidal anymore. Emotionally, I've never felt stronger, not even close.

I can relate to a lot of your story because I thought that a difficult childhood also was my problem, but come to find out, my ability to deal with those issues soared and not they are not issues at all. They were easily overcome after my amalgam removal.

Depression could be mercury because mercury interferes with T3 (thyroid hormone) production and blood sugar, not to mention ATP production, all of which can be related to depression.

Easy bruising can be related to lack of Vitamin C, which is blocked by mercury and can, therefore, cause easy bruising.

Mercury also causes poor short-term memory and is believed to be linked to Alzheimer's and other diseases that are often categorized as psycological.

Parasites and candida can also be facilitated by mercury. I had terrible candida issues until the day after the mercury was removed. The issues went away within 24 hours never to return.

I could go on and on but to be honest, I see that you have a number of symptoms that are associated with mercury toxicity. I normally recommend that those who are mercury toxic take Vitamin E with Selenium to protect the brain agains mercury-induced oxidative damage, and take Vitamin C to protect the body against the same.

Finally, for some relief of symptoms, I would take Algin, which absorbs mercury in the intestines to prevent reabsorption. Algin has been a great help to many on this forum.

In your case, you could take magnesium for constipation and headaches.

If you're interested and want to determine for yourself if mercury is causing these issues, I would seriously look into the best book I've found on the subject. Here's a link:
Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment

I love this book and highly recommend it to anyone looking for answers about this very important subject.

There is more that can be done for your symptoms but I'll leave it there for now.

If I can help further, please feel free to post and I'll do whatever I can.

Hang in there and let us know what you decide to do.
