I am curious as to what are the most dangerous procedures for amalgam removal. I have been having mine done without the use of an amalgameter <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> And now i'm beginning to get worried that i may have made a big mistake. Has anyone had theirs removed without an amalgameter? All other procedures were done correctly, dam, oxygen etc...

Yes,I did not have access to the equipment you speak of. Two weeks ago I had the last of thirteen amalgams removed with dams, suction, oxygen and other things that I could supplement. What does that equipment you mention do? The days following my last removal I felt great.Following a candida diet has helped. Now I feel kind of naueous alot. Some days better than others.

i was speaking of the amalgameter to test elictric charge, which in turn determines what quadrant to remove first. I just had mine randomly worked on.

I sent e-mail to andy cutle to ask how important it was to have them remove sequentially, and he basically told me that in all reports he got from different dentist is that it does not make a difference, wether you use the amalgameter or not. I just needed know as the dentist i inquired with told me they got rid of their machine because it was innacurate, half ofthe time it didn't work at all,and basically was not worth the expense of maintaining it,as they got same results from removing quadrants with,or without the use of it.
