Why do so many people have fillings in the back but not in the front where they would show? Maybe this is because dentists know that most people will avoid filling their front teeth due to aesthetic concerns.As time passes and the tooth that "needed" a filling does not hurt the patient may start questioning whether she needed any of the work the dentist said was needed. Througout the years I have had dentists tell me I needed fillings in front teeth and I never did them .None of these teeth has any problem . Maybe the best plan is not to fill any tooth that does'nt hurt. Also ,go to a second dentist without telling them what the first dentist said and see what they reccommend.
