Hi Russ,

Thank you for your reply. I actually read your story almost a year ago on another website, and this is actually what really got me interested in intensely studying about mercury poisoning--although I admit that I put it on the back burner for a while until a few weeks ago. You have been a huge inspiration to us on this forum. We may never know the full impact that your efforts have made until we get to heaven, but I want to tell you personally that you have given me hope for the first time in actually solving my health problems--mostly related to constant sinus/nasal congestion and (more recently) brain fog. Thank you for sharing your time, talents and wisdom with all of us, it makes a HUGE difference! I probably would not have even considered trying to have my amalgams and crowns removed if it hadn't been for you and the others on this forum. My wife is an RN, and has been trying to scare me out of doing this since the time that I decided I was going to go through with it. At the root of it all, I actually think this is mostly a spiritual battle against Satan, as he would like to have as many people as possible in a total brain fog, so that they are easier to control and manipulate, and are more suggestive to his New World Order plans.

Your story did help a lot (and I read the others too--thank you for posting those), and I will be using your experience as a baseline in getting my amalgams removed. I have located a biologic dentist that uses the Huggins protocol for removing amalgams, and also want to have sufficient Algin, chlorella, and activated charcoal on hand for the day of my removal. Luckily this dentist is only nine blocks from my house, so I will be able to come home quickly and shower and change clothes afterwards as well. I also agree with your posts that it will probably be better for me to go slowly with the post-removal detox, and treat it more like a marathon than a sprint.

What I am hoping to accomplish with this thread, is to get a collection of data in one place from people that have already been through all of this. It seems like so many people are different, and even if they try the same things they sometimes have different experiences with them. I figure that if we can condense lots of data about the whole process from beginning to end in one place, it will help the new people like myself in making better informed decisions, and will also help us as a group to draw better conclusions about what normally works and what doesn't work based upon specific details from a larger and larger sample of people. I believe that most scientific experiments usually attempt to draw from the largest sample possible, because it helps to minimize errors and deviations in the conclusions that are drawn from the data. I will also keep a journal of my experiences as I go through this process, and will be happy to share my story once I am finished with my amalgam removal (which I hope to have done by June of next year if I can save enough money for it by then).

I think that I will be having my crowns replaced first (I currently have 'gold' crowns), as this was the original source of my problems ten years ago, and it should be covered at least partially by my insurance. I am just not sure yet what materials to use in replacing my crowns yet. I really like the Diamond materials that you have mentioned, but I will not know if these are even available to me until I have my first appointment with my insurance-based dentist on Oct. 16th. Bex has mentioned the CEREC materials, and seems to think that those may be a good alternative if the Diamond products aren't available, so I am exploring that possiblility for now. I have to admit that I like the idea of ceramics, since they are so hard, and it seems like they would not be prone to leeching materials (but who really knows?).

I found this particular insurance-based dentist sort of by accident by going to one of the CEREC sites, and doing a search in my area for dentists specializing in this procedure. I then found out that this dentist is married to the biologic dentist that is nine blocks from my house. I was hoping that if the CEREC materials appear to be good (and bio-compatible) that I could use these both as crowns and fillings (so I can stick with one material overall), and may somehow be able to do all of this as cheaply as possible with my insurance as well. I have seen the concerns in previous posts about aluminum in ceramic materials, so I am hoping that I might be bio-compatible with the zirconium-based CEREC's, and I can use these instead. Since I have noticed that not everyone is bio-compatible with the Diamond series products, I was also hoping that the CEREC's might have the added benefit of providing an alternative restoration material for those on the forum that have tried other materials and have found themselves allergic to them. I guess I’ll have to see where things go from here. Hopefully I will not be making a big mistake with my choices—but I guess at least if I am, I will be able to warn others from making a similar mistake if I happen to be unlucky. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

In closing, I just want to say thanks again Russ for everything you have done for all of us on this forum. God bless and take care.
