I have been taking it for 7 months now, and don't anticipate coming off it any time soon. I am only 5 months post amalgam-removal and still feeling fatigued and a bit fluey, though better than I was. I haven't done any proper chelation - not very keen on DMSA, so am treating the candida with diet and antifungals, and adrenals/thyroid at the moment. I know it will take a long time to come off the cortisol, but frankly there is no point in trying at the moment as my adrenals are still working overtime with the candida and mercury, and I will just regress if I come off it now. If my adrenals are damaged, which my endo seems to think, I may have to take it for the rest of my life.
I'm not really thinking about that - just one day at a time. In the meantime, I can function with my three young children, and that's the most important thing for me. I'm sure I will look back on this one day and see what a nightmare it was.
