I get insomnia which is due to low blood sugar - a side-effect of adrenal fatigue. Try eating a protein snack before you go to bed - some chicken or cheese, or peanut butter. The aim is to keep your blood sugar as stable as you can all night, hence the protein, but make sure you don't take any carbs, which could cause blood sugar to drop further. I also have a protein drink on hand throughout the night in case my blood sugar drops and wakes me up. Its almost as if the brain won't let you sleep if blood sugar is too low - glucose is essential to the functioning of the brain. Insomnia and low blood sugar are my biggest mercury symptoms - I won't be sorry when these go.
