Does everything that has gelatin contains MSG. For instance, Algin from Natures Sunshine has a gelatin binder. On this site http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources.html it says that anything with gelatin always contains MSG. Any thoughts?

Someone recently asked me if the gelatin products (capsules and soft-gel capsules) from NSP contained glutamate (i.e. MSG or monosodium glutamate). So I checked with NSP's Health Sciences department to make sure. As I expected, the answer was no. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That's good to know Laura. I love NSP and was skeptical that their capsules contain MSG, thus the statement on above site regarding that all gelatin is MSG is contradictory. Thanks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
