Has anyone suffered from Ankylosing spondilitis as a result of metal poisoning?

I would think it would be pretty hard to say you got AS from mercury poisoning. Unless there was like a toxic spill or there was a sudden shift ... most symptoms thou develope over time
My friend has or had AS; his went into remission (I know he took alot of fish oil (maybe that helped).

Andrew Hall Cutler refers to it in his book "Amalgam Illness" I developed the symptoms of AK Spd. around the time of mercury placement and have wondered the same thing. Yes fish oils are suppose to help.

I have a copy of that book coming to me on loan so will be interested to see what he has to say. Did you improve after detox?

I am not doing a detox as I still have 3 mercury fillings in. Pretty major TMJ seems to keep the dentist from wanting to remove the mercury. I'm between a rock and a hard place right now.

There seems to be different thoughts on this as I am detoxing while I still have 5 fillings in. My Dr felt I needed to get my levels down before they subjected me to higher levels by removing the fillings. The protocol is apparently from Dr Walter Crinnion who is from USA.

jid, I pray you do well with the dmsa. All the research I have read says not to detox till the mercury is out. BTW I actually do do a detox by eating a good clean diet. I do the candida diet and this alone is known to help to detox. Slowly but surely, and definitly not too fast or you could end up in worse condition. Hope all goes well for you.
