just thought do you have any tattoos these also contain mercury, by the way my illness also started with what i thought was a really bad virus after visiting a private hospital i was told i had mercury poisoning but also epstein barr virus and cytomegla virus because my whole immune system has crashed. i have just had my 11 alagams removed and am feeling really bad. i too went through a few months of feeling physically much better although the mental symptoms were still aproblem then they returned with avengence. i dont understand this illness at all but believe me i really do understand how you are feeling mentally im there every day and some days are so hard to get through. where do you live i know its so hard but keep intouch with the forum its kept me alive on many dark days. i think you should post russ and ask his advice if you feel you can you are not alone with these thoughts and feelings
