Would not having a gallbladder affect my ability to detox mercury.? I had my gallbladder out 5 years ago, The operation itself was a success - it was done by keyhole - but I have always had various stomach problems since, especially with yeast!! Anyway I was wondering if not having a gallbladder would hinder my chances of getting rid of mercury. I know that by not having my gallbladder bile is going straight to my stomach instead of being stored in my gallbladder so I'm not sure if this would affect things or not.
Feeling pretty rough just now. I am hitting the six month mark since I had my fillings removed, and have been remarkably well this last 3 months, but today, chest pains and dizzy/hypoglycemic stuff are all back, plus feel like I'm having trouble breathing again, something which I thought I'd gotten the back off. Am hoping it goes away soon.
Anyway just wondered if anyone could answer my gallbladder question, btw, I do take milk thistle to support my liver as I know this was/is affected by the gallbadder.

Hi LIzbet.....I don't know if it would have a direct effect on eliminating mercury, if you optimize your digestion by controlling the candida and following a cleansing diet, you should be fine with it. But you have to keep the yeast under control cause it methylates the mercury and then it cannot be eliminated.
Milk thistle is very important, it helps to keep the liver from getting congested...and dandelion is good too.
I find eating an easy to digest diet, (no raw foods and very little nuts), and taking a good calcium supplement with magnesium and vita D..... it keeps the ICV closed and helps to keep the yeast out too!!!!
Best luck, hope you feel better soon.

tracy/sandi, thank you for your replys. I will continue to take the milk thistle as I know its good for the liver etc, hopefully me not having a gallbladder wont interfere to much with the mercury thing, i guess like a lot of things time will tell, I am actually feeling a bit better now, sometimes I think some reassurance from other people going through the same thing helps more than anything. Anways thanks for the help/info
