Tracy, i know nothing about copper, but you can get adrenal support off of laura, which im getting soon. Is your thyroid underactive, ie, do you feel tired or do you feel hyper. Mine was overactive and the symptoms are 10 times worse than underactive, i was always panicking, rushing, it was like my mind was on fast foreward, i also got a heart murmer from this and had a mild heart attack.. Is this how you feel?

Tracy, thats how i felt with my thyroid, but im not sure yours is copper toxicity.I think you really need some vitamins and minerals inside you, if not already, magnesium citrate does wonders. Have you had any blood tests done, if not get your thyroid checked, its important.

Had it checked at doctors, came back normal only when I went for vega test did she pick it up. Did you have tremours as well. Is the thryroid problem down to Mercury or is it separate. I m getting so confused. What does the adrenalin support do for you.

I havnt started adrenal support yet, im going to order some to see if i feel better, Russ and Laura sell it. I take thyroid support aswell. I think the tremors are mercury, as i have read, loads of people get this, i havent had tremors though. I remember when my thyroid test came back to the doctor, he actually put his arm around me and said i needed tablets straight away, i was in a state. My neck looked like it had a rubber ring around it and my eyes were bulging out, i had lived with this for months before being diagnosed, it was a nightmare. I was on 8 tablets a day. in the end i had to have my thyroid removed.

Remember whenever you supplement adrenals, always do the thyroid as well, and vise versa, else it may actually make you feel worse.

Try a different form of vitamin c(powder) then see how you feel. I too don't respond well to magnesium citrate (makes me anxious). I would take both adrenal, and thyroid support at the same time, and definately change your diet(NO sugar, wheat, gluten, dairy, yeast etc...) and take your time and monitor how you feel with different things you eat and such.

You can get both from natures sunshine, tremours can be from many things,if you pituatory and endocrine systems become poisoned by mercury you will suffer from many problem such as tremours and other things. The main thing you should concentrate on is supplementing, then removing the source of the poisoning,i think you should also Purchase a copy of Andy cutlers book,it explained much of the symptoms i had and the reasons i was having them.

Mercury chelation helps BIG TIME with copper poisening!!!
I tried everything I possibly could to get rid of my copper poisoning. Mercury chelation is the only thing that worked (in combination with 50 mg of zinc with every meal).

I have just placed an order from the below site. I live in Scandinavia and ordered via telephone. It was possible to just order the one bottle (I did this in case our customs officials won't accept this product). It looked safe so I'm crossing my fingers it will help. The postage was expensive, between 25 - 30 dollars <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> They didn't have any distributors in Europe. The reason I want to try adrenal support is because I fit all the adrenal fatigue symptoms, in addition I have copper symptoms and sluggish adrenals can lead to a copper buil-up. Apparently the adrenals signal to the liver to produce ceruplasm (sp?) which binds to copper. Weak adrenals won't signal strong enough, hence the build-up. The lady who received my order told me it would take 1 1/5 weeks to reach me and then an additional two weeks with customs officials, so in a months time I will probably report back here to tell you how things are going. I do believe from what I have read about copper, that perhaps my symptoms will worsen when I start detoxing this metal. http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/products/adrenal_rebuilder.php

Tracy,
I had most all symptoms of hypothyroid (with exception of weight gain) and each dr. that tested it would tell me something different. I learned that mercury interfers with the thyroid hormone conversion and the cells uptake, so you can be making enough, but your cells not getting enough.
I also had a severe adrenal crash. I had a tremor for a few years, but then I got that tremor all over feeling that you described. Magnesium is the key. For me, I was dehydrated (I was drinking water, but with hg poisoning you have to drink a LOT. 10-12 glasses of water) and this caused a low blood volume which in turn caused the adrenal problems because your body doesn't get the nutrition that it needs so it tells your adrenals to make more epinephrine (adrenaline) to get that blood moving. But what happens is that you become over loaded with adrenaline and it begins to negatively affect your heart nervous system etc.
You need to find a magnesium that you can take. If you are allergic to vitamin C then you don't need to take anything with citrate in the title. Try mg taurate or mg glycinate. I use ionized mg-400mg at night and 400mg in the morning, plus more throughout the day if I start to feel symptomatic.
Also, watch your sodium intake as it is an antagonist to mg.
B vitamins are also important for the adrenals and nervous system.

VEGETARIAN DIETS
Excess copper interferes with zinc, a mineral needed to make digestive enzymes. Too much copper also impairs thyroid activity and the functioning of the liver. If severe enough, a person will become an obligatory vegetarian. This means they are no longer able to digest meat very well. Conversely, if one becomes a vegetarian for other reasons, most likely one's copper level will increase. Vegetarian proteins are higher in copper, and lower in zinc.
At times, the vegetarian orientation is health-producing. In many people, however, restricted diets do not work well. Fatigue, spaciness and other symptoms begin to appear. Many people, including the author, felt they were becoming more spiritual on a vegetarian diet, when in fact it was just copper poisoning! The taste for meat often returns when copper is brought into better balance.
Some people with high copper dislike all protein. They crave high-carbohydrate diets. Protein feels heavy or causes other symptoms. Eating protein stimulates glandular activity. This releases stored copper which causes the symptoms. However, these individuals usually need to eat protein. The symptoms will eventually disappear.
Copper-toxic individuals may also be drawn to sweets or salty foods due to adrenal insufficiency. Some sea salt is often beneficial. Sweets, including fruit juices, provide a temporary lift but may worsen the condition.
ADRENAL BURNOUT
Adrenal burnout, characterized by chronic fatigue and other symptoms, is often related to fear and copper imbalance. Although correcting emotional and other factors are necessary, improving the copper imbalance, supporting the adrenals and releasing fearful thoughts go hand in hand to restore optimum health.
BALANCING COPPER
1) Reduce exposure to sources of copper.
2) Antagonists such as zinc, manganese and iron compete with copper for absorption and utilization. Vitamins B6 and folic acid may also be helpful. Selenium and cysteine may be helpful. Research indicates copper may be excreted by binding with glutathione and metallothionine which require these nutrients.
3) Chelators of copper include vitamin C, molybdenum and sulfur-containing amino acids. These bind and remove copper. More powerful chelators may be used, but can have side effects.
4) Enhance the eliminative organs, such as the liver, skin and colon.
5) Balance body chemistry, enhance energy production and improve adrenal gland activity. To support the adrenal glands, avoid sweets, eat protein with each meal, and supplement your diet with vitamins A, C and E, manganese, zinc and B-complex vitamins. Animal protein is very helpful due to its higher content of zinc, B-vitamins and sulfur amino acids including cysteine and taurine. Adrenal glandular substance is also frequently helpful.
6) Reduce fear and stress. Methods range from a change in location or work to meditation, therapy, more rest and other changes.
COPPER DETOXIFICATION SYMPTOMS
One of the difficulties in reducing excess copper are symptoms that arise during the process of elimination. As the body begins to mobilize excess copper from tissue storage sites, it enters the bloodstream on its way to the liver and kidneys for elimination. While in the bloodstream, the copper can cause headaches, skin rashes, racing thoughts, strange odors, digestive upset, mood swings and energy fluctuations. In men, testicular pain is not uncommon. Women’s periods may be affected. If one knows what is occurring, it is possible to take measures to minimize these temporary elimination symptoms. Enemas, sweating, and drinking more water can help promote copper elimination. Reducing the nutrition program for a few days may also help slow the reactions and reduce symptoms if they are severe. Supplements particularly molybdenum, bile acids, laxative herbs and vitamin B6 may also mitigate elimination symptoms.

This is very good info, I think this may be why I am not digesting and assimilating my proteins. Thanks so much for sharing this. Sandi xoxo
