I had the similar wild pains for years. They would usually happen at night. I would be doubled over for hours. I researched and came across the named condition COSTOCHONDRITIS.
I had my amalgams removed in June 2004. I have had one minor incident since. So obviusly in my case it was another symptom of mercury poisoning.
By the way I would say that after 26 months my health is about 60% returned. I have very agressively detoxed with herbs,vitamins and homeopathics under the care of 2 ND's. I have only made minimal use of DMPS. I have had about 6 DMPS injections and have used one bottle of trandermal DMPS.
