Hello everyone. My name is Lisa, I am 35 and I am being mercury poisoned from my amalgams. I have studied and learned as much as I can from the internet over the past year, and now I am here. It is comforting to know there is a place to go, where someone might understand me and my problems. I don't have any one to talk to about it, other than my husband. No one believes me...they think if it was really poison, that everyone would be sick or they wouldn't be putting it in people's mouths.
When I first started hearing about how fillings could be making people sick, several years ago, the thought crossed my mind and I dismissed it. I had no idea it could be causing the extensive health problems that I have.
Last year, I got so tired of being sick, I started researching the internet. I ran across a site, that had a 800 question survey about your health, of course when you got to the end, they wanted you to purchase something from them, but even if you didn't....they e-mailed you a synopsis of some of the things that could be causing you health problems. The main one listed for me was "Mercury Amalgam Poisoning". It was then, that I started my research about my condition.
I have a whole slew of symptoms, too many to even list right this minute, but some of them are: Severe stomach problems Severe memory loss brain fog excess weight that I am having a hard time losing hot and cold spells (especially hot)/trouble regulating my body temperature headaches unexplained body pain
I am very scared sometimes that I am dying, and I want to get well. I cannot afford to get any amalgams removed right now, and the nearest biological dentist is 3 hours away from me. If you count my 3-sided fillings in the back as being 3 amalgams, I have a total of around 17! I believe I am being HIGHLY POISONED, and my body is wanting to shut down. I have been reading some of your recommendations for other people that still have their amalgams, and so I have started taking vitamin C and magnesium. Please let me know what else I can take. Should I be taking the selenium? I also am going to go tomorrow and see if I can find anyplace that carries the Algin.
Thank you for having this forum, and I am glad to be here! I am sure I will be a very active participant.

Hello and welcome to the form. I hope we can help with your questions and I'm sure you will find a group of people here that understand the truth about amaglam fillings. Your friends and family will eventually believe you. It's just a matter of time. You asked... Please let me know what else I can take. Should I be taking the selenium? I believe in taking selenuim, especially of you're mercury toxic because mercury interferes with selenium utilization and low selenium can be life-threatening. The three most important supplements to take are Algin (as you know), VItamin C, and Vitamin E. It's always best to take E and selenium together. I usually recommend taking between 3000mg and 8000mg of Vitamin C depending on body weight for mercury toxic persons. I would also take 400 to 800 iu of Vitamin E. Algin is great and helps prevent mercury reabsorption from the intestines. I would take 1500mg 4 times daily between meals. Many on this forum have benefitted from Algin as have I. If you have trouble finding Algin locally, feel free to order it through us at ths URL: http://mynsp.com/herballure/products/guide.aspx?stockNum=675We sell Algin at member cost to all forum members. Thanks and best of luck to you.
