Hi Courtney, I don't know if you've considered this or not .... but have you ever tried to be desensitized to heavy metals? Most folks who have been poisoned develop allergies to the metals -- so they not only have the effects of metal poisoning to contend with but also the effects of allergic responses to the metals. My holistic/biological mercury-free dentist desensitized me to all the heavy metals I was allergic to and it must have helped ..... because after that, I had 17 amalgams removed at once and I'm doing ok from the procedure so far. I haven't begun any formal chelation yet because I had to get an abcessed tooth and a root canaled tooth removed and I'm still recovering from that. Here is the website of my dentist practice where they are incorporating lots of holistic treatments to try and achieve a good response. Since everyone is different, sometimes it takes a team of people to get a patient well. http://www.nihadc.com/bio_dentistry.htmI don't know your location, and going to this office might be out of the question for you ........ but I wanted you to know that there are evidently many holistic treatments that can be incorporated to achieve effective and healing chelation. And I'm learning that there are also many holistic treatments that need to be done for many patients before they can even consider formal chelation. Some need to reduce pathogens -- yeasts or parasites, some need to try and clear/desensitize allergies, it's an extremely individual scenario for each of us. SomedaySoon
