Well, it's very hard to predict how someone will react, so I don't think anybody, no matter how expert has the perfect solution.

I only know that it's very easy to move mercury around wildly into worse areas and mercury, when it's moved around like that, can then pass over the blood brain barrier on it's own very easily. It can't come back out though, because once it's in there, it stays there unless a person uses a product that can pass over the BBB and grab the mercury and bring it back out.

Problem is, those very things that can pass the BBB, can take more mercury INto the brain from grabbing mercury in the blood/tissues on the way to the brain.

So the theory is, to take a product that does not pass the blood brain barrier e.g DMPS (orally) or DMSA (though some argue it can pass over, it cannot to any clinical degree). So to use one of those products to clear the blood/tissues etc of mercury BEFORE adding anything else.

Again, even using those things, it can require using them in a way that will move mercury more safely, rahter than bounce it around the body wildly. So many follow a bio chemist's manner of using it, which is (e.g) DMSA taken at very low doses (starting as low as 12.5 mg or less), and taking it every 4 hours around the clock for about 3 days or more. Then taking a break for about the same amount of time you spent on the chelator.

Then repeating and so on for a few months.

this is proving the way to go for many, but I could never predict that it will help everyone, just as I could not predict that everybody is going to be harmed by other methods. Some do very well on other things, others get hurt.

NDF can work well on some, or harm others. HOw does one know? I don't have a clue.

If you wanted to ask my personal opinion? I would give DMSA a try first. And use it in TINY doses, like 6 mg every 4 hours for a few days and stop. That way, if you do not like what is happening? You can stop and becuase of the very low dose, you should not receive any long term problems. It's people who jump right on in and take something at full dose or even half the dose and then wind up injured and figure that it's the fault of the chelator, when it's the fault of the mercury and the weakened immune system and gut.
As with anything, small doses is the only way to go, mercury is dangerous, not the chelator as such.

Though you can get a genuine allergic reaction the chelating drug, it's usually rare and easily reversed upon stopping the drug.
