Before Sunrise is the story of an intelligent romance between a young American (Jesse) and a French student (Celine) who meet on a train.
Jesse convinces Celine to temporarily avert returning to France and spend the night with him in Vienna.
This story displays the powerful interplay between heart and mind as two strangers explore their ideas about life with each other.
The couple finally engage the idea of meeting again... and they do, in the next installment of this impromptu "series", Before Sunset.

My wife, Nina, and I are both avid fans of the two films, particularly the sequel.
In the DVD special features Ethan Hawke stated they may one day make yet another sequel, so that the entire string of movies depicits "Love" in all its stages, including old age. That would be neat to see the two perform together in another 10 or so years!

I like both of the films too. The first a little more.
It's definitely not for those who want action or adventure. It's purely a mind/relationship/life trip between two intellectual explorers.

I have not been able to find a copy of these films but people keep telling me I look like the girl in it.
