I came across this artical the other day. What is really crazy is look at some of the comments that people left. It is so crazy to read about people thinking that there is nothing dangerous about mercury. Mercury Spill Displaces Redford Twp. Couple http://www.wxyz.com/news/story/Merc...d-Twp-Couple/xdE5JUaXIUeukrnimRtc2w.cspxexample.... I'm certainly no chemist, but I agree with others. When I was a child we used to break our thermometers just to play with mercury. We'd play with it for hours on end and I don't believe it made any of us sick. this mercury scare is a bunch of crap. kids in the 50's and 60's use to play with mercury. unless you used it 8 hours every day for 20 years as hatters did hence the term mad as a hatter occasional contact causes no harm. I've never known of a small amount of mercury harming anyone unless it's ingested. When I was in grade school science class we had mercury in the classroom and thermeters used to check your body tempreture all had mercury in them. Somehow, I'm just not afraid of a little mercury so this sounds like a mountain out of a molehill to me. Clean it up and move on...it's not radioactive!

It so often happens that those whom have not been as badly affected by mercury in their lives often take the cynical approach until it happens to them.
I was a bit this way before I started getting sick in my mid teens. Most people have to experience it in order to believe others who suffer inexplicable symptoms/sicknesses that don't make sense or show up on testing or have a clear diagnosis of something that is widely "accepted".

In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
