does anyone else feel as tho their symptoms change from day to day. I definely find my mental state changes each day depending on what I eat or what I'm taking. It makes it very difficult because I am always up and down with my work, study and social life.
I also find that my skin changes from day to day, getting acne, and redness on different days and so on. The redness is strange it sorta only happens on my hands and face which is annoying. Also does anyone else find that their fingernails change all the time, like one day they are growing nicely, the next they look inflamed and poorly maintained.
I am still much much better than I was but still have problems that are persistent and very irritating. I also hope that this mercury problem is the only one I suffer from right now and I don't have any other hidden ailments. At the moment I take heavy metal detox product by renew life, aloe vera juice, magnesium, multivitamin, whey protein, msm and psyllium husks. Any suggestions on what else to take? hopefully I'm on the right track.. I'm thinking of seeing a naturopath again but I don't know whether they can help me any further..

Absolutely, I am positive for another heavy metals problem, mercury not confirmed but suspected. Its like a roller coaster and my fillings are removed! I personally think it has to do with your adrenal glands, look into adrenal fatigue and also I think your body changes the recirculation of mercury (or other hm) depending on the day. (not sure why). Check into algin. Its the only thing that made feel normal, hard to admit but it did! (I ran out!)

I think Modifilan would be better than kelp. It's a type of seaweed capsules that was developed in Russia to detoxify the Chernobyl victims. It's supposed to definetely pull and remove heavy metals like mercury. Can you order that on line from where you live?

I've noti ed my symptoms vary depending on what I eat.
I can't find algin here either, but am going to order some veggie ones online. There are plenty of sites that accept international orders.

thanx guys.. I dunno bout the algin ordering tho, what brand u use? natures sunshine algin is hard to order because apparently they don't distribute out of the US. Is there other brands? The other one u talked about, Modifilan if thats how u spell it, sounds interesting but a bit expensive.
The thing is I'm not real sure whether mercury is my main problem right now even tho I'm still getting most of the symptoms. I only ever had two fillings when I was a kid and they both fell out about 6 - 7 years ago. I have had bad problems ever since, mayb I actually ingested one of the teeth with a filling in it? who knows.. My mum has heaps of fillings, so does dad so mayb I am extra sensitive to mercury because they were poisoned with it when I was born. The worst problems did begin about a year and a half ago when i took accutane for acne. After that I was in absolutely terrable shape and I developed some very new and extremely shocking symptoms. My main concerns right now are acne which is very annoying and anxiety which does differ according to many factors but still lingers around waiting to come back into full force again. Mercury detoxing along with other supplements continue to help tho..

As well as NS algin & Modifilan, there is Mekabu Powder Balls (distrib. by Dong Oh), a Korean product. (As I posted elsewhere.) Hope this is helpful.

Joey... We can (and often do) ship Algin overseas (from the U.S.). Please feel free to contact Laura at 716-487-9502 or if you happen to be in the U.S. or Canada you can call 1-800-358-4278. Here's a little more info about it in case you're interested: Algin Hope this helps.

Joey, do you eat a lot of tuna or fish? These can be high in mercury.

Joey
I used to live in New Zealand (up until a month ago) and ordering Algin from Russ or Laura was easy as a phone call and relatively inexpensive - I think there may be a discount for forum members.
Ive been taking it for two months now and its helped me amazingly. My anxiety has decreased and Im feeling heaps better in general.
Ive heard that Modifylan is quite good and that it also detoxes the body of a number of hev. metals, not only mercury. I would be extremely careful with other brands of algae and kelp as MOST THINGS from the sea now days have a very high mercury load and you could actually end up making things worse. Not all products are like this, it depends heaps on the brand. This happened to me wiuth chlorella. I had been taking chlorella for about 6 months and experiencing great results and then switched to a cheaper brand and IT WAS REALLY BAD (increased my mercury symptoms.) back to where I had almost been at the start.
No one can say in this forum for sure whether you have any other health issues but I know from my experience that mercury can screw up how the liver metabolises compounds and this can cause a host of problems. By me: allergies and chemical intolerance. What you'll pobably find is that once the mercuyr is out of yours system you body will be able to funtion normally again and body will calm down and a lot of these wierd symptoms will disapear.
Cheers Steve

Joey,
I think you are right to suspect that you have gotten mercury from your parents. My children don't have any amalgams, but all have problems. One of them has acne and hormonal imbalances and also adrenal stress symptoms.I think that the acne is an outcome of the adrenal problem causing the imbalance. She takes flaxseed oil, B vitamins, and magnesium to support the adrenals and uses glycolic acid and salcylic acid (spelling?) separately, topically.

Steve, do you know if Genestra Sodium Alginate is okay? I can't take Nature's Sunshine as I'm a vegetarian and I'd rather have a plain alginate than anything else. Ive heard that Modifylan is quite good and that it also detoxes the body of a number of hev. metals, not only mercury. I would be extremely careful with other brands of algae and kelp as MOST THINGS from the sea now days have a very high mercury load and you could actually end up making things worse. I have just started on Mekabu Powder Ball. (Korean product dist. by Dong Oh Co.). It is not a fractionated substance,as far as I can see. They just take the blossoms (sporophyll) of brown seaweed and somehow concentrate it.
It consists of tiny "balls". I just drop them down my throat a few at a time, followed by a slug of water.
Animals feel pain & suffering just as we do, and they value their lives as much as we value ours.
