Jason, I have personally never see this listed as a condition mercury can cause, but nonetheless, it would not surprise me as mercury seems to be able to cause just about anything and everything.

Jason, I found your question on the possible connection between mercury and aneurysms very interesting because lately I have been wondering about the same thing. My mother died of a brain aneurysm three years ago. She had high blood pressure but was otherwise fairly healthy. Although as I look back now with the knowledge I have now, I can see indications that she was suffering from mercury poisoning to some degree. She had a mouth full of amalgams, and had had them all her adult life. Of course, some of that was passed on the her babies (me and my siblings) as well. Anyway, if you hear any more on this topic I'd love to hear it too.

The connection is: (1) Mercury "uses" vitamin C which is used in artery-wall construction and maintenance. Long-term low vitamin C leads to deteorating veins and arteries. Take additional C with Bioflavonoids for protection. (2) Mercury blocks an enzyme which facilitates the methylation of B12 which results in increased homocysteine levels which are well known to be associated with all sorts of cardiovascular diseases, including aneurysms. You can take extra B-12 however, there are other issues with is as it related to mercury. Hope this helps.
