Hi, Glad i've found this site.
I'm a one fingered typist at the moment as i have lost the use of my hands 5 weeks ago in an unexplained neuro attack. l was told a few yeaes ago that I had problems with my fillings and one was leaking. have also had undiagnosed neuro symptoms for years, resembling MS. Last summer I lost the leaking filling but thought nothing of it at the time but my health deteriorated until abouit 6 weeks ago when I made the possible connection with the extra mercury in my system. I had read about corriander (cilantro) and started eating it in abundance, thinking it would be the answer. on the 4th day I had searing pains down both arms and then paralysis in both hands and also numbness and swelling down my torso. Have regained some use but is very slow. Neuo's are baffled by what has happened but I'm wondering if it could be something to do with the corridander.
I'd be really grateful for any thoughts here and if it might be due to mercury/corriander then can I do anything to help myself and if so, how.
many thanks Annie

I'm glad you've come to the forum and asked these questions.
Everything you're speaking about sounds like mercury toxicity.
The reason those symptoms occured after taking cilantro is because it is a powerful mercury chelator. It will bind to mercury and pull it out of tissue and into the blood stream. It is very useful for detox but only under controlled conditions and definitely not while you still have amalgam fillings in.
The fact that you got sicker after taking the cilantro is a further indicator to me that your symptoms are associated with mercury.
You also need to avoid high-sulphur foods for the time being and take lots of vitamin C and E and you can add in other supplements if you want that can offer temporary help with your specific symptoms until you are mercury free.
Getting well will have to be done in several steps including:
(1) Strengthing your body and preparing for mercury removal
(2) Removing all mercury from your mouth
(3) Strengthing your body again and take protective supplements
(4) Begin a detox plan at a rate your body can handle it.
This is a complex set of steps which requires some planning and some money (unfortunately).
Why don't you post down below in the mercury/amalgam forum and tell us details about your situation and I'm sure everyone will pitch in and offer some help.
There is help and people all over the U.S. are discovering that mercury is the cause of their illnesses and they are recovering. With a good plan, you can too.
Talk to you soon and welcome to the forum.

Hi Newbie-Annie,
How are you now doing. I am guessing you have had your mercury removed? If so you should look into japanese foot pads for detoxing as well as corriander. The foot pads drag toxins out from the bottoms of your feet while you sleep and you can actually see (and smell) the results in the morning.
I hope you are recovering from what you have been going through!
kindest regards, shelberight

I would suggest that the dark moist stuff you see on your foot patch in the morning is not necessarily the bad stuff from your body. If you take a brand new pad, and spray it with water and let it sit, it will turn dark, also. The powder in the patch reacting with the sweat in the bottom of your foot likewise cause the dark colour and the moistness.
I am speaking as one who has benefited from using the patches.
