Hi folks..
I heard there was a study done at a particular University where they found that arthritic patients (some who couldnt even get out of bed) took one TBSP of Cinnamon a day, mixed with honey, within a month, their arthritis pain was greatly diminished. Many who were bedbound were able to get around with a walker or cane.
My sisters mother-in-law , a large woman, began taking apple-cidar vinegar in water every morning for her osteo-arthritis., and now she uses only a cane, when before, she practically needed a wheelchair.
I often get slight pain in my wrist, and noticed that when I wear a copper bracelet-- especially a magnet one, that the pain leaves my wrist--even if i'm typing!

I know a lot of progressive health practitioners. They'll all tell you that arthritis is easy to get rid of. It's causes are well-known (for the most part).
It's amazing that so many people take drugs for it and have no idea.

One thing that seems to work is to increase your daily intake of pure water. Just how and why it works is explained here: http://www.watercure.com/I know someone who was checking out wheelchairs before he discovered this site. It was very painful for him to walk and he could barely manage a block before needing to find somewhere to sit down and take a rest. Six months after finding this site - and starting to drink more water - he was walking up to 2 kilometers and more at a brisk clip and without needing to rest at all. So it really worked for him.

This is news to me. How? I don't suppose you could provide a few hints or links ... purely for educational and entertainment purposes of course as I'm fit as a fiddle as is everyone else I know... romano <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

There are a few different root causes so the solutions are a little different from one situation to another. I'll throw out a few I've heard from my contact with experts in this area and hopefully they'll do you (or someone you know) some good. (1) Food Allergies: This is very common and when identified and the bad food(s) is/are removed, joint pain goes away. Tomato and strawberry allergies are common. (2) Vitamin C deficiency: This can because of diet or mercury which interferes with it's action. Increased vitamin C can help in time. (3) Aluminum exposure: This is also very common and I've heard (although not confirmed myself) can be detoxed with Malic Acid (4) Other general causes: General swelling and/or joint degeneration. Supplements that can help: MSM(not recommended with those having amalgam fillings still in because this contains sulphur) GlucosamineJoint Health, AyurvedicI usually suggest the last supplement along with either of the other two (Glucosamine or MSM). They work wonders. Hope this helps.

Younger people can also get osteoarthritis. Athletes are at risk because they use their joints so much. People who have jobs that require the same movement over and over are also at risk. Injuries to a joint can increase the risk of arthritis in the joint later on. Excess weight also can accelerate arthritis in the knees, hips and spine. --------------------------------------------------- nexium
