Ziggen4u There are 3 things you may want to try. Prescription gabapentin(neurontin) did help me when I had peripheral neuropathy. Secondly a footbath with epsom salts may help. Thirdly a lymphatic drainage massage, or failing that use a pulsating showerhead or your feet and legs.
I haven't had to use the neurontin since I got my amalgams replaced 5 years ago but I use the 2nd and 3rd methods.

Hi Ziggen,
I get this after I use my treadmill. I sit down and the very symptoms you describe occur. It's a weird sensation. I think you described it well, buzzing and pulsing.
So are you finding this after doing any form of exercise, even moderate walking? This never used to happen to me that I'm aware of and seems to have only started occuring after illness. Perhaps it's a good sign that certain areas there are getting stimulated by the increased circulation? I don't find it happening anywhere else, just the legs....
And interesting enough, that is where all the puffiness shows up when I'm toxic. My legs start looking puffy and almost solid looking. I swell in the legs after exposure to toxins and also cheating on my diet. And that is where all the weird twitching/pulsing/buzzing occurs after walking. I am not sure if I notice it after any other form of exercise as much. Just the free motion of walking sets things really moving and then of course, when I'm at rest, I feel the symptoms above occur.
It's not a horrible feeling, it's just unusual. It does down though. I am interested if there is anything that you can find that is setting it off?
I assume you take calcium/magnesium?

Muscle twitching is typically due to a magnesium deficiency. I used to think that calcium should also be supplemented, however for many people a deficiency in magnesium might be a deficiency in magnesium relative to calcium, and taking large amounts of calcium and magnesium supplements just makes this worse. now I realize that those with mercury toxicity might be better off either taking no calcium supplements if their diet has plenty of calcium, or else taking calcium and magnesium in a 1:1 ratio(or perhaps less calcium than magnesium?), and not the 2:1 calcium to magnesium ratio that many supplements have.
I also realized that my diet is low in sodium and high in potassium. Those who eat many natural or minimally processed foods and forget to add salt may be sodium deficient.

Hi JK98,
This sensation for me is not the same as muscle twitching or cramps one gets from lack of magnesium etc. Mine is like an opening up of circulation, and something interesting occuring following exercise that feels really weird. Almost a nice sensation actually. And my legs really show when I'm exposed to toxins by swelling up and I wonder if when circulation is free flowing/increased, that the tissue that holds toxins are stimulated?
I do not take more calcium than magnesium. I have a 1:1 ratio in a supplement and sometimes add more magnesium at night on its own. I don't appear to have any symptoms related to magnesium deficiencies, unless I stop the magnesium and then they tend to start up.
But the sensation after exercise? Does not appear related to it. It happens everytime I walk (post walking). It's a pulsing/buzzing through the legs, not a muscle cramps/tics. As I said, like energies have been opened up in areas that are clogged up or something. Hard to explain, but I feel it's something good, not bad.
