Hi All,
I have a question. I've been reading a bit on the net recently about ways to support your body during the chelation process.
And... I've stumbled across a comment twice now that has got me a little concerned. Both sources (holistic/homeopathic practioners) state that your body cant get rid off mercury properly during chelation if you have gold dental work (inlays/crowns.) in your mouth This is supposed to be due to interaction between the two types of metal.
Laura or Russ, or anyone else, is there anything to this??? My amalgams are out but I've got a gold inlay and a gold crown. So I'm not pleased.
Steve
-Also has anyone had any positive experiences with homeopathy as a support during chelation ?

I'm not sure about the question relating to getting rid of mercury with gold in.
Gold is?or course?not all gold and usually contains a lot of copper. Cutler says copper from gold fillings affects people in much the same way as mercury does. I would guess that chelation could cause redistribution of copper if the chelator interacts with it. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any studies on this (although they may very will exist).
About your homeopathy question...
I have use it successfully for allergies, not specifically during an agressive detox (I detox slowly) but during a time when I was working hard physically and a few mercury symptoms recurred a little. I know of many who use homeopathy to manage secondary symptoms to make life livable during detox. I think it's a great tool.
All the best.
