I am still finding it difficult to get these letters to line up correctly. However, you can count, backwards 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, letters for each word.

This might not be of interest to some people. I love 'Word Puzzles'. Exercise for the brain.

You can make the letter line up by changing the font for that area to Courier New.

Just highlight the block of text you want to line up and then click the dark Tee ("T") (the second to last button to the right when creating a post) and select Courier New from the list.

You can make the letters line up by changing the font for that area to Courier New.

Just highlight the block of text you want to line up and then click the dark Tee ("T") (the second to last button from the right when creating a post) and select Courier New from the list.

I used the above text as an example of using the Courier New font. It's called a "monospaced" font meaning that all of the letters are the same width.

Well, I've printed this off, but to tell you the truth I really have a hard time comprehending things. Please forgive me.

OK, my friend from the Hyperacusis Board, Denis, is having a real bad, bad time with his hyperacusis and tinnitus. I hurt so much for Denis. He is totally homebound, such as myself at this time. So maybe when he feels up to it, he can work some more puzzles.

OK,.....as you can see there are some words that can be made into a few different words. (So if it's truly a dictionary word, we accept it.)

This is difficult to follow. LOL! Anyway....it looks like Bex, the only one you missed is #23 , 'WARDON'. I don't find that in the Webser's Dictionary. Let's try again...??

I thought I had you on that word 'learnt', BEX.....but it is in here. LOL! C.S. Lewis (renowned Christian Author, used that often). Right on! The Puzzle Book has "ANTLER".

Maybe enlighten me as to what it means? I looked in the Webster's Dictionary and did not find it. But it may be a word used 'where you live'.??

Just as Bex posted the word 'learnt'....I don't believe we use that word here in the U.S. We say, 'learned'.

"Tonier" according to the Merriam Webster Online means "marked by an aristocratic or high-toned manner or style"

Admittedly, I was not sure if that word existed before I checked but it was the "best guess" word that I could come up with the combination of letters at hand.

I tried the remaining ones but came up blank... They are outside the scope of my limited english vocabulary, French being my mother tongue.

On Number #4 you typed 'OUT', which I can certainly see how that word can fit the first three words in that line....but NOT the last word. So maybe try that one again as well?
