Hi Everyone, I'm a rookie... not sure what I'm doing or exactly how to do this...but here goes anyway! Been enjoying reading the forum and have gained a lot of info that I find helpful in my journey through this de-tox thing. I was wondering if anyone has had digestion problems/constipation problems. I am trying to find a way to get my digestion working properly. I am eating well but have been losing weight and I must take an herbal colon support to move my bowels. I have decided to try a product called RevitalX by Natural Factors to try to heal my stomach, intestines etc. Anyone had any experience with this or any other advice on digestion issues? Also, I am not sure I should de-tox too much right now until I get this working better. Does this sound reasonable? I'd love to hear from anyone on this . Thanks in advance. Chelan

Sounds like you're on the right track. A lot of us who are sick from mercury need to take digestive enzymes when we eat so that we digest our food properly and it helps us absorb the nutrients. I used to take lots of psyllium which I'm sure you've probably tried.

This was a huge problem for me all of my life.
After my amalgams were removed, my entire digestive system began working almost perfectly within days. It's absolutely amazing.
Not only was constipation gone, heartburn was gone too.
Heartburn had become such a problem that I had to take a supplement after nearly every meal to get rid of it. Now, I get heartburn twice a month, if that. I can eat the same foods but there is NO heartburn.
Many people cannot appreciate this until they've lived with heartburn for years. It's amazing and an incredible relief for me.

My digestive is unpredictable. Sometimes I don't go for a couple of days, other times I'll go twice a day. I'm not regular. I can't say I suffer from noticeable constipation, though.
I do have difficulty swallowing dry food and need to take a drink.

Hi,
I have always had trouble with digestion......from extreme constipation to extreme diahrea. I mean sometimes I would go to the bathroom twice while I was eating my meal. Which leaves a person very weak, yet I always felt better then when I had the constipation. But Potassium helped a lot with the extreme diahrea.
Vitamin C has always helped me when I had constipation and Magnesium is also helpful.
Awwww, heartburn relief......I can't wait.....I live on magnesium.

Russ, Thanks for your reply to my digestion / constipation questions. Do you think it is o.k. to go on with active de-tox before I get this issue cleared up some, or does it matter? Will the digestion improve as the de-tox goes on? I just don't want to lose any more weight. Hope you're having a great day! Chelan

Sandra, Thanks for your reply to my digestion questions. I do take some enzymes and I think they are helping, but I keep losing weight. Any thoughts on this? Chelan

Russ, Thanks so much for your reply to my digestion questions. I think my biggest concern (fear) right now is that I am losing weight even though I'm eating good stuff. Is this common and do you have any suggestions? Chelan
