Hi
I?m really glad to have found this forum. Stumbled across it by accident. This is my introduction posting.
I?ve come to the conclusion over the last 2-3 days that I?ve been suffering from mercury poisoning for approx. the last 15 years and I didn?t realize. Amazing thing is I?m a doctor (30 years old) but this just isn?t something we are taught at med school.
I can see now that there is a link between my dental work and the myriad of health problems I?ve developed over the past 10 years. For those of you guys long in the group these will be really obvious but when you know nothing about mercury poisoning and are told by your peers that amalgam ?has no scientific evidence against it? then its not even something you consider!
As a kid I had 4 amalgam fillings. This may not seem a lot but I?m certain this was plenty for me. These fillings were removed (without protection) and replaced with composites when I was a student between 1994 - 2002. Shortly after the first 2 were replaced I experienced my first round of depression. Five or six bouts followed in total, 3 of which lead to my hospitalization. Anxiety, horrific insomnia, aggressiveness, irritability, asthma and several food allergies also all developed over the course of the next 4-5 years.
Multiple chemical sensitivity followed. I was/ am affected by particular washing detergents, emusifiers, laundry agents, chemicals used to make cheap press-wood furniture and most recently adhesives and acrylic compounds used in dental procedures .
Most debilitating of all has been the the brain fog that slowly but surely has settled in: - memory loss and lack of concentration. I?m not going to go into how horrific this was for someone who up until then had been an energetic, talented, capable achiever ? as I?m sure many of you know exactly what this feels like.
I have become aware of detoxing during the last two years and though not knowing the cause of my problem was mercury have made general regular attempts with sauna, mineral supplements, chlorella and ALA. I have had some good results and some symptoms are lots better. And that?s without any direction at all. I?ve just recently heard about Andrew Cutler?s book and have ordered this. I?m hopeful now that with proper protocol I should be able to make bigger better leaps towards good health again once I know how to deal with the problem.
I suspect also that being part of a discussion group like this is really important. Exchanging ideas, info and experiences with others who have suffered similar somehow is invaluable. I think it?s the whole fact of being taken seriously.
Looking forward to it.
Steve

Hi Steve!
I read your post with great interest. Presently I have 4 more molars that I will be having my mercury removed from within the next few months. I've started with 8 fillings, and I already see improvements with having the first 4 replaced.
Im so thankful that I have stumbled upon Herb Alllure myself!
Blessings, Boldyloxx

hi - i'm from london, uk and have have known about my mercury poisening for about 2 years now. i recently had my hair tested and levels were double that of the average person. its been a long journey of various investigations into my health which started because i was sick of being told by the doctor that i had IBS without any explanation or reason. i could not explain the insomnia, ringing in ears, brain fog, depression, fugal infections all over my body and constant thrush. the final straw came when i experienced fertility problems - i read about the links. at last i find the culprit. i had the fillings removed in bangkok last year by qualified dentist. i'm now on a mission to detox/rid the metals stored in my body- a lot in the gut area according to a kinesiologist. i had several very large amalgam fillings put in when i was 11 (26yrs ago) i've just started using NDF plus and wondered if anyone had any tips/advice? i bought the plus because i'm sensitive to wheat, yeast & citrus/tropical fruit and have been experiencing incredible excessive thirst and month long pulsating headaches. I've been using it for about 2 days now 3-6 droppers under tongue twice a day followed by lots of acidic spring water intially then alkaline - each time i use the drops i get a weird moving/shifting feeling in my head - its not unpleasant almost like an indication that its working i guess! my cheeks go very pink and my body temperature rises (as i'm usually a very cold person). is this normal? i feel great - in fact elevated in some respects and excited about getting my life back so to speak as i feel its working. i still have the hissing in my ears though. would love to share experiences with anyone who's going through the same. best wishes and best of health to you all x
