Every few weeks since amalgam removal my symptoms seem to change to a new area or affliction. I have gone thru adrenal/thyroid,kidney, hypoglycemia stuff, major GI stuff and now fibro/sciatica pain..It's like a slow walk thru all these diagnosis' one dissappears and the next shows up. Anyone know if this is common? thanks, kathy

Hi Kathy, Yes. I have gone through this and also heard that healing continues going through cycles. It's not usually an uphill ascend to improvement, but rather an ongoing and at times distressing circle that seems never to end. It affects certain areas, then seems to move onto another, then another and it may start back again where it started. Whatever areas the mercury has poisoned, will usually become exaggerated as the body is trying to heal. Once your amalgams are out, there is often a worsening for many people and that I think can be because the body is no longer suppressed by the constant presence of amalgam and is free to deal with the problem. I remember I got very upset post amalgam removal, when things got even wore and I was in fact actively detoxing/healing. But I felt repoisoned. One excellent doctor well versed in mercury says this is common and he said that you were actually sicker before, but the body was unable to actively deal with the problem, whereas afterwards it starts to do so and the symptoms are exaggerated. I've heard it referred to as a roller coaster ride. Except I can't quite compare it to that, because sadly the process isn't fast like a roller coaster Though the up and down side of it is pretty accurate - though mine was often so slow, I'd stay ill in one area for a very long time before it would shift to something else. Very tough to tolerate. No sooner did I feel improvements, than I'd be pulled back down into suffering again. This continued over and over, until my body had eliminated enough mercury for more steady/long lasting improvements.

My God Bex, I don't know how you survived it! I do agree tho, that I was too ill before to feel anything...Now I am feeling the pain of the damage this 'harmless' stuff does. I'm hoping it is from healing....How many years has it been since you had the hg removed?

I go through a bipolar type reaction, one night high and full of it and bright, the next night or so very depressed and down and hopeless, it gets tough at times when you go through that. I am using Selenium now (Phytosel from Broccoli) and it's so strong at times that I get reactions like you guys from chelators, the anxiety can be bad and the symptoms worsen alot. I have to use 1/4th of a pill alot of times and thats enough right now! I will take it slow as I know it can be dangerous to move fast, but yes I go through alof of what you are going through now. My legs got really heavy and achy this week, my kidneys last week were sore it seemed, it just goes in cycles. Today I am very LOW later on, severely low, I will make it out though.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.

Hi Sean, I realize these aren't real emotional issues, but I HAVE had soem real emotional issues lately that have kind of come to a head this past while and I just bought a formula of Bach Flower Remedies called Grief and Loss. It's amazing - haven't cried now since I started it. I've used Rescue Remedy many times in the past also when I was in a emotional funk I couldn't come out of. I wonder if their detox formula would help. I've used them before for OCD issues with my daughter in the past, too. They work and they've, now, (along with other brands) come up with formulas for anything emotional. Of course yours sounds like brain chemistry plain and simple right now but its something to look into at least.
How you doing otherwise?
