Isn't that sickening?!
The real way to restore the U.S. economy is to rescind NAFTA and GATT and reduce or eliminate income taxes. If these were done, there would be a virtual renaissance.
Manufacturer's would be scrambling to come back and reopen their U.S. factories, exports would skyrocket, and the standard of living would increase dramatically.
