Hi,
I am sitting here in excruciating pain.....I don't know why but a couple of my crowns have started killing me (these are old crowns). It's like my teeth are falling apart......I have tried everything and I can't seem to strengthen my teeth, they are just getting worse.
I'm also having trouble with my gums.....I've always had strong gums but the last crown I had put in, it was loose and I was having foul stuff ooozeing out, (one side of my face would swell)....I started using different products, which eased it somewhat but ever since (that crown) my gums aren't the same. I finally found another dentist that cleaned out some mercury (that was left under the crown) and he reattached it.
The two crowns are on the opposite side......now I am really desperate....I can't wait and weed through all of the dentist that claim to be mercury-free. But I am soooo afraid to go to a dentist......waaay too many have lied to me, for waay too many years.
Does anyone have any ideas of anything that can strengthen my teeth?
Thank you, Elaine

I understand how difficult your situation must be. However, you have to let someone fix the problems for you or they may just get worse. There are a lot of honest Dentists in the world so it's just a matter of finding one and being able to afford the work. If you're in physical pain, your medical insurance may pay for the work for you (if you have medical insurance). This could be a real blessing for you to have the cost covered, at least to some degree. I know it's tough but you just have to persevere and if all is done right, it should all be worth it. Finding the right people to do the work for you is 2/3 of the challenge. There are some ways to get rid of the pain. You can use a topical pain killer. Use ice or take a supplement that controls swelling. Something like Nature's Phenyltol may help. I used it with my Dad to control pain with cancer. I hope this helps and I hope you find the patience to persevere through this situation. Let us know what you decide to do.

Russ,
Nature's Sunshine doesn't make Nature's Phenyltol anymore. So I've been looking for sources for the dl-phenylalanine to use for pain.
Also, if you have new info for the Vitamin E pages of the HART Manual, how do we get updates? those of us who already have the book and/or CD ???
Thanks,
Joanne

There is an herb that is very helpful for gums and for strengthening teeth. It is called White Oak Bark. I buy it from Nature's Sunshine Products (of course) in a capsule form. Then i open the capsule and put the powder into two areas: #1 I mix at least 1/2 tube of toothpaste in a glass jar (that I've cleaned and sterilized) with 3 capsules of White Oak Bark and 3 capsules of Black Walnut powder, and 1 teaspoon of colloidal silver. All of these are from Nature's Sunshine. #2 if I have any pain, tooth or gum, or even if there is a cavity, I put about 2 capsules worth of the white oak powder into a tea bag (dump out the old tea). Then I dip this tea bag in hot water for about a minute, to moisten and activate the herb. Then I roll the tea bag closed and place it between the gum and the cheek. It provides almost instand relief. If you suspect any infection you could add a drop of clove oil (only one drop) or a drop of Myrrh Essential Oil. Yes I get that from nature's Sunshine also. Some people use Tea Tree Oil. I know this has worked on many people, even those of us who still have crowns. I hope this works for you too !! Joanne

So I've been looking for sources for the dl-phenylalanine to use for pain. You're right about the Nature's Phenyltol. Here's the product I would use as a substitute: Triple Relief Also, if you have new info for the Vitamin E pages of the HART Manual, how do we get updates? those of us who already have the book and/or CD ??? All you need to do is call us at 1-800-358-4278 or view our Contact Info. There is an herb that is very helpful for gums and for strengthening teeth. It is called White Oak Bark. Good suggestion. Here is some information about White Oak Bark. Here is some additional information about the other products you mentioned: Black Walnut Colloidal Silver Clove Oil Myrrh Oil Tea Tree Oil In case you're interested, the information pages I present are generated from the HART On CD Computer Program that we make and sell. Thanks so much for the excellent suggestions.

Hi Russ,
I know I need to get my teeth fixed.....I would love to find a good, honest dentist .....if you could see my mouth, you would understand what I've been through, since mercury is such an accepted method, I can't get it through their heads that I don't want anymore metals/mercury. I personnally think they are brain damaged from all of the mercury they use.....I didn't mean that to sound as harsh as it does, I'm just frustrated. And when I'm in that chair, I have no idea what they are doing or using on me.
Unforntunately, I have no health insurance and only supplemental dental insurance, it only pays a small fraction of the costs. But that Nature's Phenyltol sounds very good.....can I call to buy it?
Thank you for your help. Elaine
