Hi all, I suppose I am just getting so tired of trying this and that. I've been pretty convinced that I am low thyroid. I am extremely sensitive to temperature. Get hot easy get cold easy. Hair still falling out but no noticable balding. Very tired everyday especially between 3:30 and 5:00. I have to lie down at this time even though I get 7-8 hrs of sleep. The fatigue and depression is sometimes debilitating. And of course all my blood work said "everthings normal" (story of my life)
Even after insisting they send me to an endocrinologist they said they would but never got them to call me. So, now, Im just thinking about getting some Armour and trying some out myself. A low dose, of course, but does anyone know what to expect or how long it will take to work,(if it does or doesn't) Thx for the feedback!! Diane

Diane, for me, I found that I had an adrenal issue. I used this and it helped me a lot.

I also had symptoms that occurred at certain times and was able to associate it with chemtrail spraying.

Diane: You might want to try changing your diet. I had all the same symptoms as you and couldn't exercise for 5 years and my hair began breaking and falling out and I was put on thyroid meds. This just exacerbated everything for mek, including adrenal issues. Not saying it will for you, but after I was on thyroid meds for almost 5 years, I tried an alkalizing diet, no dairy, breads, sugar and most recently am off of meat for a little bit. As soon as I added this last component I had amazing energy, then I began the alkalizing drink on the Askmoreless forum on www.curezone.com, which included Kelp. The kelp gave me back my energy and my hair stoppped falling out. I had tried Armour and just straight T3 for Wilson's temperature syndrome (cold/hot) and what I found out on the Askmoreless website was that my thyroid wasn't working because my body was so acidic and that Kelp is a natural form of iodine which is in armour and tried to be replicated in synthetic thyroid meds like synthroid, levoxyl, etc. I read all these stories about kelp being a "no no", yet I listened to the advice of Askmoreless moderator and lo and behold it worked and I'm so grateful .. because I prayed for a "natural" solution to my thyroid issues.

I had a total thyroidectomy 20 years ago so I've been on synthetic T4 since then. Since becoming ill with CFS 5 years ago I tried natural thyroid (similar to Armour) and also a T3/T4 combo.

Neither of these worked for me. FOr me, the synthetic T4 preparation seems to work best. This may not be the case for you though.

Adrenal support (DHEA prescribed by my doc) did help in the early stages.

The advice about the alkaline diet above is very helpful. I also changed my diet a few months ago and introduced a lot more fresh foods. But even then my hair kept falling out in handfuls.

When I did some more dietary research I discovered that insufficient Omega 3 and Omega 6 can cause fatigue and can also cause your hair to fall out.

I added hemp seeds to my diet (because hemp seeds contain what is believed to be the ideal ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6: 1:3 or 1:4). Within days my hair was no longer falling out.

If you decide to buy hemp seeds, make sure you buy them WITH the shells on (removing the shells exposes the oils to oxygen, which can cause free radical production). The shells also contain nutrients which help with absorption of the oils. You can either grind them down in a coffee grinder and add to salads, or smoothies or juice.

Alternatively you can eat them as they are; they're very crunchy.

Its an easy thing to try to see if it will work. YOu might find them at your supermarket, or alternatively there are plenty of websites selling them.

Just curious, but is there THC in the Hemp seeds? Probably a dumb question... I hadn't heard of these.

Hi Jeanie, Its not a dumb question at all. A lot of people ask that.

Hemp seeds dont contain THC. You wont experience any "high" from them. They're perfectly safe in that sense. Also, because the plants are really "hardy", they can grow without the use of routine pesticides etc.

The other thing I forgot to mention earlier about hemp seeds is they also contain small amounts of GLA (the oil found in primrose oil).

And the "other" other thing I forgot to mention is that they're great for dry skin; I'd had a big problem with dry skin for years and these seeds cured it up in a couple of weeks.

And no, I dont sell them or make my living from them. I just think they're great
