I just wanted to update you since I made some changes in the past month:

I joined this forum 12/06 and pursued removing mercury via having teeth pulled and/or fillings redone with porcelain crowns and shortly thereafter began chelation. It has now been 1 1/2 years since removal.

After pursuing what I thought were all my problems (mercury, thyroid, adrenals, liver), I still felt hopeless as my condition seemed to worsen not get better.

At the nudging of "Sunshine" and watching his success I decided to visit the curezone forum by Askmoreless and see what all the fuss was about and have some very good news to report.

Within 3 weeks of implemening partial and then all of his protocol I have finally began to get better. While I am not out of the woods, for the first time things are changing and they are for the better and are much cheaper than everything else I've pursued including naturopaths, MD's, Wilson's thyroid therapy, Armour therapy and so forth. I'm not putting these down, it's just that these always seemed to never get to the heart of how I got to where I am and how can I get back to a place of being free of any medications and supplements. That has been my prayer for 2 years!

I am only going to report what worked for me and encourage a visit to the site because it is loaded with folks who are getting well.

My progress is that for the first time in 5 years I'm exercising. My hair has stopped falling out and I'm off my thyroid meds and my skin is beginning to regenerate and my energy levels are soaring. My mental clarity is returning and I now see I'm going to get well. My digestion is also improving daily (leaky gut, candida, liver issues).

Later on after I'm strong enough, I will continue with gentle detoxes, but for now I'm just getting my body back into well enough shape to do the detox--although I will be pursuing some of these in a different manner based on information gained on the site.

I could explain the protocol for you, but you really need to visit the site for yourself, read it and testimonies and make the decision whether to embark on the suggested protocols.

As you may or may not know, several times I've attempted to share information on other protocols regarding adrenals, thyroid, digestion and I've done a good job of pursuing them, but all to no avail! What I have found on this site gets to the root of why disease can get in the door the first place and how to help you help your self, step by step get to a place of complete health--no guarantees, however, the testimonies speak for themselves.

I know we know that we must get out the bad stuff, however, the approach has always seemed difficult for me and trying to say the least and many times frustrating with me wanting to take my own life over it. I encourage everyone to take a peek at the information.

What type of hair loss did/do you have?

My hair is falling out too and it's frustrating especially as a woman. It's been this way for almost a year now, but I am finally seeing growth. WOOT! It started to grow back as soon as I started to remove the amalgams and I suspect there is a connection.

In case this helps, my hair loss began in about 1998/1999 when my mercury symptoms were peaking. I noticed thinning in most areas of my head except the sides and back.

When the amalgams were removed in July of 2000, the hair loss immediately stopped and there was no change for years.

Then in late 2005, when our town began being sprayed heavily with chemtrails, the hair loss—along with nearly all of my other mercury symptoms—started again.

Incidentally, chemtrails testing has shown that chemtrails contain mercury, barium, aluminum, lead, mycoplasma, and mold spores (and more).


My Mercury Story (for those interested)

Hair loss began several years ago, it started breaking at first and then gradually was losing more. After I began Armour thyroid meds I had a major loss of hair and regained some of it, but it never really quite grew back all the way and turned curly as well. My thyroid meds would always keep it in check.

I then tried T3 therapy by Dr. Wilson for Wilson's syndrome and it made my leaky gut even worse so I had to stop and again my hair began falling out and breaking more and more so that it was all over the bathroom floor, in the vacuum roller, and 20-30 hairs every time I brushed my hair.

After becoming quite convinced that Kelp would help me a week and a half ago, I began taking 1/2 tsp a day and now am up to 1 1/2 tsp along with alkalizing minerals, see website link in earlier link. After one week I noticed there were only 5 hairs where there used to be 20-30 and it looks like there are some hairs growing. The biggest thing I've noticed is my energy levels and my skin is getting better and better. Also, the tiny little white spots on my nails are disappearing the ridges are going away as well.

Russ, you might want to check out the link to the site I posted. Alkalizing baths should help you deal with those symptoms. There was someone on the site who was re-exposed to pesticides and herbacides and was able to overcome this and MCS through alkalizing diet, minerals and detox baths.

Of course, maybe you could move to stop the continuous exposure?

Ah okay. I guess they would call that diffuse hair loss which the thyroid usually does when it's not working properly. I've been trying to find another person with mercury poisoning who has or had alopecia areata. I am curious to know if it is related and if my hair will grow back once the metals are out of my body.

Tomorrow is the day for me. I will be amalgam free as of 3:45PM. Not like I'm counting or anything...hahaha

Birdlady...please check out this website: http://www.curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=740. I have been losing hair for over 10 years and it really got bad 7/06 after changing thyroid meds. I'm now off the meds and on KELP, yes KELP, even after I read so many things that said not to do KELP because I have Hashimotos and am Hypothyroid. Well...if you follow the protocol, the KELP will work and you can either get off meds if you're on them or start on the KELP and start getting the benefits. I had a very quick reaction to the KELP, but I was also off thyroid meds for 6 weeks because of leaky gut and my body just said no more of that darn poison! Thyroid meds are incomplete in giving your thyroid what it needs to properly function and YES mercury can inhibit it and I had my fillings removed or replaced 1 1/2 yrs ago, but I did not get better. I am now getting better!

Do a search on hair loss, I did one on just apolecia. btw... one of the items he suggests is drinking an alkalized drink w/black strap molasses unsulphered. I just starting giving this to my husband because it helps with hair in more than one way, it supplies minerals, which usually are deficient in those who bald early or go gray early.
