I got the kit today and immediately tested my urine.

The test, tests for zinc, lead, cadmium, copper and mercury.

My test came up positive to a small amount of zinc and a lot of copper.

I then tested my partner who came up with what looks like medium levels of copper and lead.

I decided to test my reverse osmosis water to see if any copper was coming through. It came up with a clear zinc only result. I read this is fine in water?

I then proceeded to test my stainless steel cooking pots. I put in some filtered water and boiled it for 1.5 hours to see if they leached. The test result was completely clear. The zinc in the water had vanished and no metals were present. It was amazing to see the liquid a clear green after all of the other metal present results.

So it showed no presence of mercury but I know that dosen't mean anything. I wasn't really expecting mercury. My plan now is to take some chlorella and cilantro and see if there is a release of mercury.

I had eaten coriander (cilantro) pesto about an hour before the test, as a point of interest.

I am reluctant to take the chelators just yet as I have had a bad phobic, anxious day and I don't need to induce more of it. I have to wait until I feel able to face the possible panic feelings I had last time I took it.

I will get back you with the results.

We know mercury is hard to find in urine (without provocation). However, how accurately is lead excreted in the urine without a provocation agent? I was reading some sort of scientific paper and it says everyone excretes some lead in their urine. For the study they injected cancer patients with colloidal lead phosphate. They had a group of cancer patients in the same nursing home without injection and then a "healthy" group.

Their conclusions after collecting urine was that everyone had a normal average of lead excretion at 0.085mg. I guess my point of all this is that it doesn't look like lead excretes in urine. It is likely that the feces would show a better indicator.

The dangerous DMPS challenge test showed me having excreted 2.7ug/g which barely reaches into the elevated area. Therefore if I didn't use a provocative agent it would have likely be nearly undetectable. I think how low the results were shows that it won't be excreted in urine in large amounts.

I tested for lead in a hair analysis and went on a search in my house for the source. I knew it had to be in the house. Your SO should check the house(s) for lead exposures. My husband and I bought a handful of lead test kits at Lowes then started to test glazed plates, mugs, cookware. My lead exposure went back to our bathtub. For whatever reason, the coating on it (or lack thereof) was allowing lead and likely other metals to leach. It's pretty scary to think how much time I spent in that bathtub (4 years worth of bathing). My husband lived in the house even longer!

This is just some food for thought. I sometimes get a little out of hand when I begin researching something. I'm sorry to hear you have the neurological effects from mercury poisoning. I'm stuck with the autoimmune diseases.

What kind of test is this? Is it the one from mercout? Don't you have to send your urine sample off to Doctor's Data for analysis?

Here are some photographs of the home test kit results.
[Linked Image]

This is the first test I did about two weeks ago. This if after it's first shaken up. It has settled a bit more in the second picture.

Here is a me on the left, my tap water(reverse osmosis) in the middle and my partner on the right.

This is the test I did today after reducing copper foods in my diet and starting zinc today. Also, 2mg VIT C three times a day.
[Linked Image]

It seems to have a faint band on the bottom like the cadmium colour sample. It's hard to tell what it might mean.

I know I have low zinc and high copper from my drinking beer alone! I need one of those tests. If you want to raise Zinc safely and naturally without an imbalance read up on Earthrise Spirulina Gold plus, that is very high in Zinc and raises levels in your body than isolated supplements.

In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.
