Hi, All! I had posted before that I was to have my mercury fillings removed yesterday (Friday). My husband and I traveled 4 hours and stayed all night in St. Louis to be able to be at the dentist office at 8:30 Friday morning. We got there on time and NO dentist! We called the emergency number and the nurse finally called us back a few hours later and the dentist is in North Carolina. Somehow our appointment was missed! And what is really freaky is that 4 weeks prior we were scheduled to get the fillings removed and they had scheduled us on a day that the dentist was to be out of town at a conference. At that time we went ahead and got all of the first patient tests done on Thursday and we were supposed to get the fillings out on Friday. Anyway, to have this happen two times in a row is really weird! The nurse that got ahold of us yesterday said this dentist has alot of out-of-town people come and this "just doesn't happen"! Anyway, I do have to say that being a Christian, I believe that nothing is by accident and there was a reason. My husband is going to talk to the dentist Monday and it will be interesting to hear what he has to say and what he will offer to do. The trip to get this done isn't cheap, besides the cost of the filling removal. I was pretty devastated yesterday, this is emotionally draining, especially since I haven't been well for going on two years and I have so much hope about getting better once the mercury is removed. But after much prayer, I have peace and I know it will be OK. Anyway, if any of you are praying people, would appreciate prayers that we will have direction, maybe we are supposed to change dentists???? Vicki

If you're life is anything like mine, nearly everything worth while gets hindered and delayed, sometimes in the biggest of ways.
For example, I just spent over 2 years purchasing a house. I ran into every obstacle possible.
As an example, the owner even had an aneurysm 2 days before closing which was also the last day of the rate lock. The hospital notary went on vacation the entire week I needed to have papers signed at the hospital. And even before all this, the mortgage company?after 2 months of having me fax paperwork to them?cancelled my application.
Nevertheless, I felt confident that purchasing the house was the right thing to do and persevered; ...and even got the mortgage company to reinstate my mortgage (the same day) plus they kept the rate locked for me. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Did you know that on the way to the Dentist (in July 2000) to have my removal, my truck broke down several miles from the dental office; Just totally stopped running. I called AAA, had it towed. Jumped in a cab and the rest is history.
I believe you will persevere. This charade to place poison in our mouths is purely diabolical and the fight to warn people is quite an uphill battle as all of the corrupt "establishment" is against us, whether it be government, mass media, huge organizations, or large powerful corportations.
Nevertheless, I have no doubt that with proper removal and steadfast detox, you will never regret the trouble you've taken to rid yourself of this horrible burden. It has been one of the two pivotal points in my life, and judging from the health issues you suffer with, it could very-well be pivotal for you too.
All the best and we will pray for you.

I had a similar situation with a doctor and simply demanded all of my test results so I could take them to a more professional doctor. In a separate event, I actually waited four hours on a doctor during an emergency only to overhear her staff discussing the fact taht she was still on the golf course. I'm sure that never happened before, except to every patient in that waiting room

Dont be discouraged. It seems also that when something isnt meant- God completely shuts the door. On the other hand, when something is meant, Satan will throw in stumbling blocks to discourage you to "throw in the towel". It looks like in your case, its the latter (you being made discouraged to throw in the towel )
All you have to do is reflect on what Mary and Joseph went through trying to find a place to deliver Jesus - finally, they found a place - but in a barn. Before that, they had no cooperation in finding any kind of place she could deliver Jesus.--doors were shut in thier face.
So you cant always go by the fact that it must not be meant if things are not running smooth. Just hang in there and pray. and keep trying.

Thanks for the encouragement! Since this post quite a bit has happened. After praying and talking with the dentist who was supposed to take out the mercury, we decided to look for a dentist closer who would also take out the fillings in the 'right' way. We landed up going to a dentist that is only about 100 miles away instead of 300 miles and this dentist is MUCH more thorough than the first dentist!!!! Also, this dentist has been through mercury illness himself and so he understands! Needless to say we can see now why things happened as they did. God can see all and we cannot! My life is to seek and trust Him and He ALWAYS proves faithful!! I am scheduled to get the fillings out May 23! Please pray as I am very sick already and I need wisdom in doing the best I can do at this time to keep me from getting the least amount of ill afterwards. As you know, the information on what is best for detoxing and chelation are very confusing and conflicting! Certainly need God's wisdom for that!!! Blessings! Vicki

Good for you. You're on your way!
I've noticed in my life that when something doesn't work out, something better eventually does, so much so, that when bad things happen, I immediately start wondering how this is all going to "work together for good".
Best of luck and have your detox plan ready. Remember, it can be a roller coaster for a while?even months?so don't be discouraged when you have bad days.
