I'm interested to talk to anyone using EDTA IV chelation. Would like to know how it is going for you? Side effects? Levels coming down? etc

I would like to know about this too, especially if it can remove mercury from the brain. Please e-mail me at beanzie@rogers.com if you find out anything. I don't know who to believe anymore....

Hello It is my understanding on EDTA that it removes plaque from the arteries. I have not heard much on it removing mercury. When I was going to my ND my blood pressure was in stroke range and they wanted to use EDTA on me for the arteries. Then they were going to go with DMPS for the mercury. I decided to go on my own with the Cutler Protocol. So far my blood pressure has come way down still not normal according to DR's but I have found that they don't know a whole heck of a lot anyways. I have not yet started chelation but went in the direction of clearing pathways first and chelation is in the very near future. My stomach was in such bad shape I did not think it could handle the mercury very well without some major work first. I hope this helps a little. Rachel

EDTA removes desired minerals to a great degree, besides just mercury. It is therefore not good for treating mercury toxicity. The more commonly used chelators for mercury remove mostly heavy metals(mercury, lead, cadmium, etc.).
