Man I'll tell you now that the weather has warmed up, (its 102 today) I have been one mean person! Wow! Its amazing how much temperature effects me! I'm driving along fine in the car with the A/C on. The moment I get out of the car its like I get hit with a wave of depression. And not as bad with the cold: at least I don't get cranky necessarily but very cold the second it gets below 70 degrees. Is this cause my thyroid is messed up or is it cuz theres still HG poisoning? I feel like I can't go anywhere and be comfortable.. I can't eat this, can't eat that. Can't drink this, can't drink that. Hopefully my endocrinology referral goes thru so maybe they can help somehow. I get nervous as summer approaches, I have 2 kids to take care of. I don't want to have ANOTHER depressing, iiritating, cranky summer. God help me! Sorry I have the whinitas friends but sometimes I just want to scream or just cry. Diane

i have similar probs with temperature. Here in the UK it has warmed up, i should be happy but im not, it makes me miserable and im sweating constantly, get this then, i only have to drink a glass of cold water then im freezing with goose bumps, i cant win, im constantly taking off and putting on clothes, its stupid. I seem to feel better in the winter but i still try and get some sunshine on my body for healths sake.

Again Diane, this could be drug withdrawal and/or adrenal fatigue. I've been through it myself and have met others who have, I know how awful it is. Where are you at with the antidepressant -- have you stopped taking it?

I am the opposite,I cant get enough of the sun these days its like my body was starved of it (last summer was overcast and rained for 7 weeks straight) I cannot tolerate the cold at all.At the moment I can stand really hot sun and seem to sweat hardly at all or very little. Andrew cutler mentions these extremes in amalgam illness.

Hi Linda Lou, I'm about 64% off the celexa. I am wanting to take it to the next level (72%) but I am so dang cranky, not sure if I will yet. Also realized my peroid that just ended and then decided to kinda comeback (spotting) and feeling crampy. Normally my cycle goes 4 to 5 days of menstration. Then monthly its been 27 days, 26, and this month it was 24 days. Im 44 so Im wondering if I am also getting perimenopausal. Last night I felt homicidal for no big reason. Its strange and scary. If its adrenal fatigue, how do you make it stop? Thx Linda, Diane

Symptoms noticeably lessening with sunlight, plus sensitivity to cold, are classic hypothyroid symptoms. Are you supporting your thyroid while you are chelating?

Diane, these symptoms are shouting that you are withdrawing your medication too fast. I would strongly advise you to go back to the previous dose you had and stabilise, then take this more slowly. I've seen a lot of people with these problems and they are only likely to get worse if you continue to press ahead without listening to your body. Homicidal ideation is a withdrawal symtom and that isn't one you'd want to experience any further, is it?
Let me know if you'd like some help with this. These drugs can affect the body and the brain profoundly and some people really need to take their time so that their systems don't go into shock.
Linda.

Just a reminder that too much of anything can stress the adrenals and the adrenals and thyroid work together. When I first started detox I was able to handle heat and lots of chelation...that is UNTIL I drained my adrenals down by going too fast. Now I'm working on getting adrenals and thyroid strenthened so I can eventually detox.

Step by step, that's how you achieve success.
