I am very grateful to have a forum such as this one, and to have found a wonderful person such as Russ, who gave us the support we so needed at an extremely difficult time. I am the mother of a 22 year old daughter who has been chronically ill for 16 years. She lost both her childhood and teen years to this horrible illness. We have both been desperate to find help for her ailing health for so many years, and travelled all over the world (including to Germany twice) to see naturopaths and doctors who I thought could help her. Each time, it was a devastating blow to see her follow difficult, regimented programs only to see no change in her health. The illness was all-encompassing, affecting not only her physical health but her state of mind. We could not figure out what was causing so many horrible symptoms, both physical and mental. Along with the fatigue and the flu-like symptoms came horrible brain symptoms (racing brain, OCD, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc.). Her organs were starting to shut down after so many years of illness, and we were at our wit's end. That is when God sent us a doctor who finally confirmed that my daughter's mercury levels were off the charts. No one had ever thought to look into mercury and heavy metals as being a huge factor in her declining health. She has been going to this doctor's clinic to receive IV chelation for the past few months, and we are finally seeing a glimmer of change after so many years of failure, and I am so grateful for this. Because she is house-bound, she is incredibly lonely. At 22, she should be out enjoying her life, going to school and able to socialize with friends. She dreams of one day being able to have energy/strength to go out and enjoy life, and continues to fight towards wellness. She is the bravest person I know, and has an inner strength which is truly amazing. Having someone in the age range of teens to thirties who she could talk to that is going through the same thing and is benefitting from mercury removal would do her so much good and would really boost her spirits. Please be sure to maintain a good regimen of colon cleansing with that IV chelation!

Herbal cleansing (try http://www.humaworm.com or visit your local health food store for colon cleanse herbs) and/or hydrotherapy-colonics help whole bunches to make IV chelation go much quicker. the IV saved my life too!

I would suggest finding an online discussion group for those with similar issues (Mercury Poisoning, Chronic Fatigue). That would be a good place to start.

Hi Heartbroken. How did your daughter get so toxic? Unless I missed it, I didn't see you say if it was through amalgams, or something else?
