I heard Alex Jones(who reveals government dirt on http://www.infowars.com) on his radio show at
http://www.infowars.com/listen.html
talking how they, those in power, intend to take over the internet, with internet2. They let us use the internet knowing that they would destroy it later, whilst having total control of the new internet2. Those who use internet2 can only create websites that are extensions of government website names e.g. http://yourname.government.com instead of http://www.yourname.com

He says it'll be more expensive to use it. Once enough people are enticed to use it, they'll remove the whole original internet for good. Those currently using the internet2(universities, government departments etc.) don't know the hidden agenda. The more people who know this the better as that will probably damage their plans.
