Hi there all.
Im interested in getting my mercury levels checked. What is the best test to get this done. Im 4 years post amalgam and part of me feels mercury isnt actually a huge problem anymore and that i just have a severe candida issue along with dental allergies. If anyone can guide me in the right direction let me know. On another note ive been using a candida product and ive had massive success with it. Ive tried them all too Olive Leaf Extract(useless), Pau Darco(awful sweating) and other commercial ones claiming to get rid of it. However i have had sucess somewhat with Caprylic Acid but the one thats made the most difference is Formula SF722 by Thorne Research. Has anyone else tried this. Amazing stuff. My brain fog vanished after two days on it and my cravings have gone. Apparently 30 days on it is all you need and im already more regular in the bathroom.
Thanks for reading all

YESSSS! I've used SF722 and have some on my kitchen table as I write. I use it every so often when I have stomach issues. It works GREAT. Thorne products are the top of the line and many holistic and naturalpathic doctors swear by them. I also love the fact that I get NO side effects from using SF722, just relief. If you want to gain a bit more knowledge about candida and fungus, this link has great articles. http://www.know-the-cause.com About the mercury testing. After reading this forum and many books about mercury poisoning, I have come to the conclusion that's it's almost impossible to get a read on the body"s burden of mercury. What really is a big problem is that almost everyone has a very high mercury content in their body BUT(big but) not everyone exhibits symptoms or symptoms that correlate to mercury poisoning. I would definitely say that the posssiblity is high you have a mercury problem if you had any amalgam fillings in your teeth at any time in your life. Here is another interesting post on sf722 http://www.geocities.com/hotsprings/4966/program.htm

Yes its awesome stuff. I actually sat down and read a book the other day. something ive not done for ages. I could actually feel my body saying thank you. IMO it is the best candida product you can buy. Glad to hear from someone who agrees! Thanks for the feedback on the testing. I guess the best bet is for me to save my money and carry on with the diet thing and getting suitable materials in my mouth. Ive been on DMSA and felt terrible then realised that i have zinc phosphate in my mouth as a temp which im allergic to. DMSA chelates zinc so of course i felt like my teeth were being pulled out. Im gonna leave chelating alone for now.

Any Cutler fan will tell you that the best way to determine mercury toxicity is to do a DDI hair analysis. Although your hair mercury levels may be low, levels of your other minerals will show up a mercury problem - ie the pattern of calcium / magnesium / sodium /potassium and others - lithium, manganese, iodine. If this pattern of minerals is 'deranged' then the likelihood is that you have a mercury problem. Cutler explains all this in his Hair Mineral Analysis book (sold on this website) and you can get hair test interpretations and advice over on frequent dose chelation. Challenge tests and blood tests are basically useless, and could be dangerous.
If you had your amalgams out four years ago, then body mercury is unlikely to still be a problem. Unless you have chelated with ALA though, brain mercury is likely to be causing you problems (see Bex's post a few days ago about body and brain mercury).

If you’ve never done a hair test…and you want to test for mercury…then a hair test sounds like the idea for you. You will learn a lot of other stuff about your body too, as well as if you meet Cutler infamous “counting rules”. Follow instructions here…… http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_hair_test.htmlfor full benefits you should read Cutler hair test book together with you hair test results. If not…just post it to Yahoo FDC and ask nicely. Someone will help…they always do.

the main ingredient in sf722 is undecylenic acid a derivative of the castor bean , I wonder if castor oil packs can do the same thing for candida?
