He looks great to me. Wow! He stopped placing mercury in 1984. Amazing!!! I read a lot of his page and he really looks excellent! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Manonash, this dentist doesn't just look good, he looks IDEAL. I'm reading the website and this guy is covering just about every angle possible for his patients. He's given different options of testing (I get the impression he feels doing as many tests as possible would be best to get a good idea of what materials come out best on all testing, because these tests differ in what reactions inside the body they test for). E.g. serum test is for basic immune response, but the other testing tests for other responses.
So he's not only been mercury free for most of his career, he's also highly aware of biocompatibility and has also mentioned that people are usually more reactive to alternative materials when they are still mercury toxic! So often, you can find that detox of mercury improves sensitivities also.
He uses cerec, which is what I have just had placed in my teeth after getting my old composites out. Seems to be a popular material with dentists on both sides (biologic and mainstream). both for it's biocompatibility and for the mechanics side of it. It is strong, it lasts and conserves more tooth structure. Only drawback is, it's costly!
But this dentist seems a great choice. I would go to him!

I called today to inquire about insurance info with this dentist, and ask whether they would do quadrant or all at once (she said it depended on what my doctor said about it), and she mentioned the thing about immunity and not doing it 7 days later and such. So, sounds like they really know this stuff.
Like someone mentioned in my insurance thread, I'm scared and excited about this!

That was me! I am so scared, but happy, excited and my anxiety is kicking in, too! I know I'm finally ready to do this, though. I will be sure and keep everybody updated on what happens, and you do that TOO! That's how we can all help each other.
