You know I'm talking about the test for iodine deficiency where you put some liquid iodine on skin and see what happens... if the stain stays there for long your body doesnt need iodine and vice versa. Anyone done this test? I put some iodine on my skin 8 hours ago and now its almost totally vanished so it seems I'm deficient (according to the hair test my iodine is low too). Any experiences with this test?

My wife has done it and it was inconclusive. I read later that the skin test is very unreliable and the only sure way of testing is through an iodine loading test. The loading test involves taking a measured amount of iodine and then having a 24 hour urine sample to check on how much iodine is excreted. Here are some web sites for you to check out!! http://iodine4health.com/http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=815http://www.drbrownstein.com/These should get you going and keep up the great questions.
