i WAS TOLD AT THE PPRIVATE HOSPITAL i WENT TO THAT THEY CAN EASILY DO A SIMPLE BLOOD TEST TO TEST YOU CANDIDA LEVELS. i DIDNT HAVE ONE AT THE TIME BUT AS I KNEW I WAS GOING FOR SEVERAL BLOOD TESTS AT MYGPS TODAY I ASKED THEM AND THEY SAID NO PROBLEM, SO I VE HAD ONE DONE THERE. TRACY XXXXXX

HI Tracy, candida testing is pretty inaccurate and comes up with a lot of false negatives. The best test for candida is checking symptoms and doing a trial candida diet for a few weeks or more to see if there are any improvements (or even worsening during die off).

I hope they do find something though, not that I want you to have candida, but to lend you some kind of diagnosis so that you would be able to be treated and get relief of something at least.....

Most people with candida get tests and find nothing. Yet when they do the diet strictly and for long enough, often are surprised to find results and go through the typical overgrowth die off.
