Well I have been fighting fungus for awhile and the only thing that worked was systemic antifungals. I just started two weeks ago with the medicine and sticking to no sugar and the change is amazing. It's like a switch on my brain was turned on. No more anxiety, ADD/OCD/autistic thoughts, and my depression is gone too.
I did however have a very severe fungus infection, with my tongue completely white from oral thrush.
If you have a severe fungus infection, try systemic antifungals. Olive/grapefruit seed extract/dieting and other natural supplements did nothing for me

Hi Kriminal, this is great to hear. What was the name of the systemic antifungal? I am scared to take one in case I become reliant on it and then find oneday it may cease to be as effective....I heard that yeast can adapt and mutate. But I dont know what to believe.
I know what you mean about the horrible thought patterns. I have had this with candida and I mean the kind where you can end up institutionalised. I went on a candida diet and three weeks later, those symptoms lessened significantly.
HOwever, these days I'm finding diet is just not quite cutting it. I feel the yeast may have gotten stronger or something. So if I use a systemic antifungal, will it then rise above that as well? Or come back even stronger afterwards?
I hear all kinds of stories, and I've tried antifungals (natural) and found that I seemed to require more or stronger eachtime I used them to get any kind of grip over yeast. I'm somewhat nervous about using anything now, other than diet (which is giving limited results it seems lately).

From what I have understood, anti-fungals should be rotated regularly, because the candida indeed get resistant to some particular stuff if you only use it. I've seen some sources recommending a 3 month period on a particular anti-fungal before switching.
Kriminal, that 2 weeks sounds like a very short period for such good results. Don't you get terrible die-off reactions at least? I would like to proceed with something stronger, but I still can't do that as nearly everything I use gives a die-off (even simple things such as vit C and E).

What are you using? Are there OTC systemic antifungals?
