Russ did you have ADD before you removed your fillings?
One of my biggest problems is ADD and 14 months post removal i do not notice much improvement. The ADD has responded to removal but not much. I wonder if you had this problem and how long it took to go away. Thanks.

Well, I was never diagnosed with anything. I also don't agree with the way diagnosis are made and named today.
There is a linear gradient between the severity and symptoms of these "disorders" and they receive a myriad of names so as to discount the severity the current spectrum of epidemics and to assign a number of pharmaceuticals to these variety of "names" as well (it is a business decision).
So, did I have ADD?
I would guess that the answer to that question would depend on who you ask. I can, however, tell you this.
I could not read an entire paragraph in a book without my mind drifting multiple times and having to start over at least 2 times.
My focus was horrible. My attention span was worse.
Now, it's complete different.

I also haven't been diagnosed with anything, but I suspect what I have been suffering from after the amalgam removal is ADD, along with brain fog. I think it is a thyroid related disorder, as some supplements can take away this brain fog curtain, but then I go hyper. However, it's steadily going away, I have less and less brainfog, but I still don't go hyper. I have also started having small headaches. The current theory is that something (mercury, parasites) disturbs T4->T3 conversion, and leaves you in a state where your thyroid functions wrongly, because it compensates for this problem. I have no idea what else could cause ADD problems.. the thyroid is such an important mood regulator that much follows from it, when it works improperly. Of course, only a blatant dysfunction of the thyroid gets detected in a blood test, so you can't often have a diagnosis of this problem.
