I just got back about a week ago after going through Dr. Huggins program. I had all my (10) amalgams removed in one sitting along with 4 cavitation removals. Dr. Huggins has his trained dentist do this and Dr. Huggins does the consultations. I spent four hours with Dr. Huggins as he went over my blood and hair lab test results. He then prescribes supplements according to my blood test reading. The hair results showed high mercury. I'm just now going to start on my recovery and chelation. He cautions that detoxification is retoxification. And that most chelation programs go to fast for the body to handle and often results in retoxifying the body with mercury. He put me on a low dose DMSA (25 grams) 3x a week for 3 months. I am also taking 3000mg vitamin C as he said this will also detoxify the mercury. Besides that i am taking his supplements which include magnesium, manganese, zinc and vitamin A. My hair and blood tests showed that the supplements i'm currently taking before seeing Dr. Huggins were not being absorbed by my body. So i recommend that everyone gets pure supplements. Dr. huggins website sells his supplements if you want to make sure you are getting good stuff.
Dr. Huggins is a smart guy who has put his life on the line to help people recover from mercury poisoning. The government has been fighting him every step of the way. They fear that the word about mercury poisoning will get out to the public..and who will liable for all the millions of people that need to change their fillings? It would bring down the economy if word gets out. Not to mention the millions of dollars in lawsuits. Dr. Huggins has been threatened with bullet shots going through his window just missing him. Also, "they" almost succeeded at murdering hiswife. As she was radiated with microwave radiation that came through their house as she slept. She wasn't expected to make it through the night. she survived but had to salvage her relationship with Dr. Huggins to protect her life. Dr. Huggins had a whistleblower call him and warn him that he as well as 2000 other scientist/physicians were being radiated by the government. They send microwave radiation beams through the house either through lasers or satellites. This is America folks! I had no idea this world existed in America.
I'm having a hard time knowing that this happens to good people. And i'm having a hard time knowing that the cause of my symptoms for most of my life was pure poisoning by mankind. I don't think i'll ever be the same mentally with this knowledge. I've been researching a lot lately and i'm finding out how many scientists/physicians who tried to tell the world that there is a cure of cancer and other diseases - all mysteriously died in tragic accidents. I'm compiling a list and the numbers of good people who died are astounding. Basically - if you have cancer, MS, Diabeties, Obesity, Altzeimers, Lou Gherigs, Cronic Fatigue, ...etc it's probably heavy metal poisoning (Mercury) combined with the chemicals in our food, water and health care products combined with parasites. This is what everything points to. My heart goes out the the millions of people who's family members died for no reason other then pharmaceutical and government greed.

Well you have to keep in mind that it's a free country not only for honest folks but for dishonest folks too.

I have read Hal Huggin's 'It's all in your head' and it is all true. There is no doubt that he is very knowlegeable about mercury fillings and their disastrous effect on health.

I'm not quite so sure that Huggins is so knowlegeable about chelation however, and the protocol he has given you (DMSA x3 a week) is likely to redistribute mercury, rather than get it out of your body. For chelation many of us follow the Cutler protocol on this forum

This is felt to be one of the safest protocols. It would be a good idea to research your chelation options before starting out.

It all depends on the state of your overall health and how good the dentist is that is doing it. In my case it was too much for my stressed adrenals and the one botched cavitation put me over the top and made the cancer cells go crazy. You have to find a good practitioner and dentist, obviously Huggins is one of them. Andy's protocol may work for some, but if I had to wake up to take meds, it would affect my sleep and good sleep is crucial to keep the immuhe system and adrenals functioning well.

I took 100mg of DMSA every third day and felt great, as long as your colon is working efficiently and you have all the yeast out, you should have no problem with redistribution. That happens mainly if you are moving out too much too fast and your liver gets overburdened.

Sounds to me like you are one of the lucky ones Headshakes, what you are doing took me 3 years to learn, and I pieced it together bit by bit. I wish I had bought Huggins book right off the hop. Cutler and Huggins are both good, but we are all made of different stuff and what works for one, is not necessarily good for another.

I agree with Nicola wholeheartedly. Huggins knows his dentistry, but chelation Andy Cutler is the Chelation expert.

That yahoo group is very very good. You cannot fail to learn lots by getting those daily emails.

hi headshakes : welcome back sounds like dr. huggins is helping you out alot ,and is still helping you, as for his chelation schedule it makes alot of sense to me, I tried the cutler chelation method and at even a low dose my body could not handle it , it was supose to help with the symtoms ,but made me feel much worse ,so had to discontinue the chelation for now , if you don't mind me asking ,how much did the huggins program cost ,and he put you on dmsa 3 time s a week for three months ,did he say what the next chelation schedule would be after that ? very interested in his chelation schedule ,I think it may help me more than the other ones

HI headshakes. How u doing? I'm having mine come out one quadrant at a time. it is a slow laborious painful tedious experience.

i just wonder what it would be like if i'd had them all out in one go?
