Got my tumor marker results today and my numbers are exactly the same. So obviously the diet is working and now that I have cut down the potatoes and fruit, maybe it will work even better. And I am not even doing the diet right by the book, for one thing, the detoxing was too heavy...causing too strong of a healing reaction, and also I don't have the stamina to do 10 juices a day and all the work that goes with it...hopefully I will get there. I was moving out too many metals with the iodine and potassium and starting to have hallucinatory nightmares just like when I was chelating mercury with too much garlic.
The dr was much nicer today, she said it was up to me and they would support my decision and if I needed chemo down the road it would still be available to me, and they will continue to check me every month or 2...so that turned out really well. I tossed and turned all last night...didn't hardly sleep a wink....so tonight I will sleep easier.
And guess what else, my hemoglobin is almost up to normal, so I guess the liver extract and B12 shots are doing the trick. I just saw my GP this afternoon and she couldn't believe how much better I looked, even though I hardly slept. My prayers were answered....I am on my way to wellness!!! Thanks everyone, Sandi xoxoxo

Sandi, I ran across this page as I am trying to figure out if I can use honey or xylitol to make my ginger beer,,, ginger kills yeasts and stuff but sugars help them increase... apparently research has been done showing that ginger kills ovarian cancer cells too... on this page: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=72

Thanks guys, and thanks for that link Sosick, I will check it out.
Anon....The protocol I am using is the Gerson therapy, lots of juicing and a truly vegan diet...you flush out the cells with nutrients and the cancer has nothing, no toxins left to live on. Also iodine and potassium supplements and lots of pancreatic enzymes to supplement. You can find more at gerson.org. I know a lady that got breast cancer and had chemo and then she got it back and said no more chemo. She had the surgery and then went on this diet and 3 years later, she is still cancer free. And the testimonies in the books are amazing, this was developed over 60 years ago and has healed many from all kinds of degenerative diseases,
It is sure better than chemo!!!

It's great that your health is improving. If you need any surgery, don't have it done by a gynecologist or general surgeon. Instead , get a oncological surgeon who specializes in gynelogical surgery. Keep us posted.

Hi Sandi:
You cross my mind at times when I think about this. Can you remember when you had signs of candida first? I remember about 10 years ago when, after I think, a round of antibiotics, my throat went red, and tounge white. It stayed that way, and my doctor did not think it was such a big deal. Ho hum, don't worry about that - it is nothing.
Well, I disagree, always did. My humble opinion is that reflects something going on that should not be.
Do you believe in Ph balancing? I have a book on that. How are your levels?
Take care - my prayers are with you - though I think you are on your way to figuring it out.

Hi TW.....When I think back, I believe I had candida for a long time. I think the mercury impaired my digestion from birth, I got alot of mercury in utero. I have had chronic constipation all my liife and I am sure that caused an overgrowth and then when I got a flu shot 4 years ago, my mercury threshold was reached and the candida got out of control. The body produces more yeast to protect us from mercury.
Yes pH balancing is so important, especially in a chronic disease situation....disease thrives in an acidic environment. That is why the veggie diet is so important for me, and I was eating so much protein cause it binds to heavy metals. I was eating lots of oils too and now I find that cancer feeds on proteins and oils. That is why cancer patients lose all their body fat. I am pretty much balanced now, I use the ph strips occasionally.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, I appreciate them the most.
Best love, Sandi xoxo

How do you get 50 grams of protein on the Gerson diet ? Do you combine beans and rice or get amino acids from vegetables or ?
