I had gotten my amalgams removed 9 monthes ago from hesham and I have to say Im feeling so much worse.

Before removal I had a mild depression and was very lazy and just couldnt get myself motivated enough. I believed it could of been my amalgams since everywhere people say amalgams can cause depression.

So I got them removed SAFELY. I am alot worse now I suffer hot flashed and get stressed for no reason and panic attacks. I am always shaking and beleive getting my amalgams out was the worst thing as I was now fully exposed when I should o fjust left them in. I wouldnt have sufferred this bad. I am at my wits end with stress no positive thinking can help me or drug. PLEASE HELP

Been where you have exactly. Could be me who is talking, I am mentioning no names here, but was in the same state as you are now and still am except I won't let it go so hence been to Breakespeare hospital in London to get myself sorted. I don't know where you live or if you could afford this but I would reccomment it. Thats all I can suggest Beat Wishes Tracy

I am sorry to hear of this. How long after removal did you notice things get worse? Because often people can be hit what they call the "second stage of suffering", which is often stored mercury that begins to erupt forth. It is like being repoisoned, but often even worse than you felt with amalgams.

Typical time frame for that to start can be 3 months post amalgam removal, more common is 6 months, other it can happen a year or more later. It depends when your body is ready or whether something may trigger that off. For me? I felt ill immediately after amalgam removal, had a sort of "remission" then got much worse about a year and a half later when my symptoms began to return much worse than with amalgams. A DMPS IV injection appeared to force my organs into dumping and I went into almost overload. From then, I suffered horrific symptoms as my body attempting to excrete this massive storage which was coming forth.

I wonder if this maybe what is taking place with you, or basicaly acute exposure to the vapor during removal (or both). Just some ideas.

Incidentally, though it's mentioned often on here it's not for nothing. Many do find an antiyeast (candida diet) can aid their symptoms and sometimes dramatically. SOme find that excluding sugar, wheat/gluten grains, milk, even fruit and high carbs (temporarily) can relive some symptoms or even cause some to disappear. Not always, but it can be worth a try.

candida takes advantage of an already bad situation and makes it worse and so often in the case of mercury because of the lowered immunity and inability of the body to control yeast as much. So diet maybe your body's only way of gaining some aid....

Chelation may also help you, I recommend Andrew Hall Cutler's protocol and his book is available on this forum (top left in yellow) "Amalgam Illness, Diagnosis and Treatment".

I wish I could help you more and woudl be interested in finding out what Dr Hesham recommends or whether you have informed him of this?

I developed severe candida infections in my mouth several weeks after getting 7 amalgams removed. It seems like am finally getting the infections under control with grapefruit seed extract. I am now taking 6 drops in 8 ounces of water 8 times a day. At firat I just rinsed my mouth with grapefruit seed extract. That wasn't doing enough. Now I swallow the grapefruit seed extract, and use hot salt water and peroxide to rinse my mouth.

Sessions 3-6 with the EDTA can be rough Tracy. Stick with though, you'll love the way you feel (and look) after sessions 8-10 and onward.

My doctor starting giving me DMPS injections at the end of the EDTA IV at about session 7-8 (after every other EDTA), helped enormously the two together. That was my major turning point to start feeling progressively better in short time.

Eat plenty of fiber.

Dear SoSick I am so ill today and in so much pain I feel like I want to scream or bite on something. I never believed you could feel so ill without actually dying. My head is exploding, my neck stiff and pains in legs and arms. I juct hav to keep clenching my teeth so I dont shout out and frighten my daughter. Why is this so hard. I wish I could just close my eyes and never have to open them again. Sorry for sounding so pathetic but the pain is really more than I ever imagined... Tracy

Drink LOTS of water after EDTA. Take Vitamin C & E. Eat a big salad if you have the energy to make one, real good for headaches. I have found that drinking a tablespoon of organic unfiltered cider vinegar with about a cup or maybe less of water for a couple days in row helps my kidneys stop aching (when they do from time to time still, not real bad though) and I feel a lot better overall. the only thing that'll really keep my headaches away is cilantro with lots of garlic, I'm not recommending that for you at this point, maybe downline. I also use feverfew to keep migraines away but I have a feeling it interferes somewhat with vitamin C maybe (not sure), which is kind of a conflict when chelating (or maybe it even chelates a little, not sure about that either but it is sure is dependable for migraines). But still,if I get a migraine that bad, had one last week, I eat the feverfew anyway, just a little bit helps me and the headache will usuaully subside the next day. The feverfew works extremely well but you need to take it generally a few days a week (when you don;t have headaches) to keep them away for good.

My bones ached, and elbows knees, and butt were extremely senstive, painfull to the touch, that has pretty much subsided. Otherwise my mercury poisoning was a lot of numbness but I know the painful baseball in the back of the neck feeling real well.

Stay with the EDTA Tracy it gets worse before it gets better. But you might ask about adding DMPS to that IV after a half dozen EDTA sessions. It really speeds things up. The EDTA will make you real real tired, so just rest.

The EDTA gave me headaches too... ask your dr if they have any OTC chelators with dmsa that you can use at home, eat just a little bit of fresh cilantro when taking a couple or few of those after EDTA and you should avoid the headaches. That's how I got through it anyway.

So a couple options there, feverfew, cilantro (just a couple sprigs) and DMSA one or the other or both.. The DMSA routine is defintely more compatable with chelating I think though.

The feverfew may help that achy neck, I know after I ate some last week my neck feels better. I had a tooth extracted to hopefully help that, and it did somewhat but comes back. At least I don't have it everyday anymore.

I think you are experiencing the after effects of starting EDTA. Hell to go through the first few weeks, hard to forget. But worth it.

btw, if I take painkillers or aspirin to try to make one of those headaches go away i get a few hours relief and then 3 more full days of extreme intense migraine. Everytime. So I do not take aspirin or painkillers. Plus the painkillers hurt my kidneys which need to be functioning optimally for chelation..
\Eat lots of fiber. Buy some psyllium. Also colonics help a lot for back pain and leg pain. all of this combined with your EDTA sessions adds up to lots of time and some expense but I do not know any other way to get through it. I went for about 3-4 full months of daily doing nothing but self care in all these areas and that in itself exhausted me fully, both physically and financially, from which I am still recovering. The worst of my mercury poisoning subsided a good couple months ago.
