I have like three cavities in my teeth , I've actually had them since the beginning of my health problems and I suspect they might contribute to my poor health and burdening my immune system, should I have them filled and how much do you think they can really burden the immune system?
Can I use amalgam to fill it in?
Just joking. But the material is an issue cause here I can only get composites and they contain fluoride plus probably aluminum so on one hand you can plug the hole and give your immune system a break, on the other those materials might cause problems, the question is which case's worse.

Hi Jinx, I dont know it's a possibility. Being not a dentist, I'd have no real clue about cavities and problems systemically. I guess from infection or something.
I would say if you are going to get them filled, would you consider getting an amalgam or two done at the time you're there? reason I say this is, the dental office itself is contaminated with mercury vapor.
So sometimes I wonder if it's wise to get something done if you're already going to be breathing in some vapor (from other patients removals/fillings).
I know that is a really awful situation that you're in, but I'm thinking of it in the kill two birds with one stone kind of thing.
Also the composites being replaced all have chemicals and metals and undesirables in them. Do you know the name of the one the dentist uses? Maybe able to find out for you if it has a pretty reasonable biocompatiblity track record.

Have you considered getting gold fillings? Are you sure you have cavities or just a dentist who needs to make a car payment?
